Just noticed someone decided to help themselves to my Orange Plymouth hood badge I was furious. Oh well, at least they were considerate enough not to damage the paint so wont complain too much. Hey ED, werent you collecting these........hmmmmmmmm! LOL sorry had to cheer myself up a bit. Hey BUTCHEE i think You bought an orange hood lately right? If you dont need the hood badge ill buy it and ED you said the dealer had them for about $40 i will take that too or if anyone else has them lying around (I know some cats take them off.) ALSO what is the best way to take off the double sided tape, i waited till it was hot still no luck I was thinking WD40. thanks for listening ------------------ |

P D, The local dealer ordered mine and the orange one was about $ 6 cheaper, about $42 or $43. Your dealer should be able to order one for you. They all come from the same place. My dealer does not give me any discount so you can get it just as cheap or cheaper yourself. Have you got the part number? ------------------ |

Doc, the hood was debadged when I got it. I used prepsolvent, naptha , and gasoline to finally remove the residue from the glue. No damage to the paint. It must be an acrylic glue~tough stuff. ------------------ |

Try Dental Floss to take the big stuff off. Then follow up with a product called "Goo Gone" I bought it at a Meijer store but it is sold everywhere - craft stores etc. You can also call 216-464-2353. It will get rid of the glue. Sometime having kids pays off....... John |

Bob, What a shame that people feel they have to vandalize property that doesn't belong to them. At least it is something that could be replaced without too much trouble. |

People can be something else. Had a guy come straight at me on Saturday (from the side as I was driving up the road) I gave it some gas and got out of his way. As I looked in my rearview mirror was laughing so hard. It was a weird feeling (the spell of the KAT ?) but instead of wanting to turn around and pound the guy, I just drove on and actually felt sorry for him..... John |

Mine got egged last Saturday. I am in the process of installing surveillance camera to catch @$$ hole in the process. I got it off soon enough. Some damage to the clear coat and the eggshells dug to the aluminum where they broke. ------------------ |

I had someone screw in a sheet metal screw into the rear tire of the Black Tie the 1st week I had her. A lot of people hate those who have things they do not and vandalise because of it, very sad, very pathetic. ------------------ |

I was probably the only one who ever had the Kat top slashed in a theft attempt, at a hotel following a car show in West Palm Beach. $2400 & 3 weeks later, got a new top. The kat was only ever outside one night and it was targeted...so, now you know it will NEVER sit outside again. You must watch your kat! |

When I got my Mustang Cobra new in 94' there werent many around. I lived in a townhouse w/o a garage at the time. The 1st weekend with the car, someone stole the snakes off the sides. They werent real careful either. I had to buff the scratches out and put on new badges. They are still on there today, but I was so mad at the time. Thankfully I got a garage shortly there after. If someone messes with my Kat and I catch them.......... I might end up in the Big House. ------------------ |
