There's more to the number story. Just guessing but I would say that the breakdown is more like this. 250-300 signed up only to sell something, a car or items, usually salespeople 40-60 people who have registered and then changed names resulting in dual registration (Rich Ware and BeWare for example) 50 names that are obviously false and were used to remain anonymous when making trouble (a few come quickly to mind) 100 registered only to be in the registry, have never posted, attended or participated I'm sure there are also other explanations but that takes care of 450 - 500 out of the 1300. Now we're down to 800 or 850. Out of those only about 100 post or participate. We need more local events to pull these people out and onto the road. Oh and I almost forgot, out of the 800 - 850 people left (still a good number) registered, probably only 80% of them actually own a prowler. Maybe we need to make people re-register or let the registrations lapse after one year to keep things current. If not, we'll end up just like the other site and it's 1100 members. It is a shame that more of the people who register don't post, but then not everyone feels comfortable doing that. Please don't forget, however, that there are a lot of people who frequent this site who own Prowlers but do not register. I receive a lot of emails from these people for lots of different reasons. They email about brochure offers, etc., purchasing things from the stores, just to make comments about some of the topics, Friends Program, ask questions, etc. Again, these owners just don't want to post. There have been some that eventually register just to stop me from badgering them all the time about it!! lol!! I hope they feel like "members" just the same! We just need to keep encouraging more of them to get on the board and share info, humor, etc. We also need to encourage them to come to an event and meet everyone. So all of you out there ........REGISTER!! POST!!! Make us laugh!!! Share some stories, info, whatever!!!! Come to an event and have a blast with us!!! This was right after I signed up and I got locked out of the Web Site. I could not figure how to get back in so I registered under a new name. This happened back Oct 2000. I orignally registered July 2000 and changed after 30 posts. Knowing what I do now I would have done things differently.
