Mike, Congrats on the new lift, you're are going to love it and won't know how you got along without it for all these years. Now how to get Karen to give you the o.k on the air compressor, an air compressor is mandatory if you have a lift but that won't fly with Karen I'm sure. Here's my suggestion, tell her I said people from the Bronx ( now living in Florida ) don't know how to operate an air compressor and shouldn't have one. That should get her pee'ed off at me and will tell you " honey get that air compressor and show Al ", best of luck and I'll pray for you... I know you'll need it. Ciao, |

Karen, Brooklyn the Bronx's what's the difference, they all talk the same. I really doubt people from Brooklyn know how to use an air compressor, if they did you would let Mike get one. I'm sure Mike moved to Florida just so you would be happy in the sun Karen, so can't you let the poor guy get one...please. Mike, Io spero questo aiuta, buno fortuna. |

Now a lift I have gotten away without having for many years (still don't have one 3 Kat's later). However, an air compressor is MANDATORY. This comes 1st before even the tool box! I'm most impressed with how you manage without one! ------------------ |

Karen.......... First thing Bob taught me about having a well-equipped garage was that you HAVE to have an air compressor. Comes in handy for all kinds of things. Here are some reasons: 1. Air the tires in anything and everything you own that has tires (including kids bike tires).....important to keep proper air pressure in the tires! Saves having to go to the gas station. 2. A necessity for air tools (impact wrenches, air drills, air rachets, air chisels, sanders, sandblasters, painting tools, spray guns, etc. etc.) 3. You can blow out all kinds of air filters including your cannister vacuums. 4. Great for dusting the garage. Just open the doors, start at the back and blow off everything, including the floor! Less effort than using a broom! 5. Good for cleaning out the interior of a car. Blows dust out of all the crack and crevices in the seats! 6. Works great for inflating pool or lake inflatable toys! Bob is on his second one. The one he purchased in 1970 (Sears Craftsman) has been relegated to the garage up at our lake cottage. We have cars and boats stored up there and it is still doing duty! The second one (bigger, but not big enough he says) is residing in the garage at our house. One can never have enough air compressors!!! I learned well, don't you think? I also learned to use them and wouldn't be without one. One of the first things we bought our son when he purchased his first house was an air compressor! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! Karen and CJ, Looks like CJ got most of the reasons, however, they are also absolutely required for the house any remodeling project. Couldn't possibly think of re-doing all of the baseboards without the air nailgun. My husband said it is also needed to blow all the smoke and fumes out of the garage from the welder he will need next. ------------------ |
