So I'm out minding my own business enjoying the sun and beautiful day Westminster, Colorado was blessed with yesterday and I get stopped at this red light, 1st in line right lane. So here comes mister Camaro directly behind me and then at the last second whips over to the left lane which was open and starts revving his engine. It was a late 90's Camaro and I thought what the heck lets see what happens. The light turns green we both hit it.... The Kat jumps to the lead immediately and blows the Camaro all the way until I reach 4th gear and my turn. We were going about 70 mph when I had to shut it down for my turn off. I just pointed at mister Camaro as I went right at my turn off. I know this guy had to have been pissed and dismayed. I could almost hear him thinking "damn I thought those cars only had a V6". Just thought you guys would like to hear of another successful Kat scratching story.

Alex

PS. The moral of the story is those whom have Gears travel much faster from point A to point B!

If you don't have the Prowler Pro Gears....Give Dean a call.

What was that guy in the camaro thinking. With just a stock prowler, you probably still can kill him. Just remember, Prowlers are only about 2800 lbs+. good job Alex. No one wants to race my Prowler yet because they are too busy staring at it.

Alex, if you think the gears are something have your kat bottle fed!! One Camaro owner, after my wife and I stomped him, said "Damn, I've got eight grand in that motor and I get my butt kicked by a V6!!"

"No, you were beaten by a Plymouth Prowler!!" He couldn't help it if his car is Prowler Food!

Yes indeed Fred!!!!, I bet the Kat gets going pretty quick with a little NOS shot. I might have to look into that. Anybody got suggestions on the best NOS set up...Dry???,...Wet??? Thanks

Alex, that question could start a war... hehehe

For me there is no other than the wet system. From what I'd seen before getting mine the HP is higher from the wet by a bit but I've never driven a dry system. I'm running a 150 shot from day one and haven't looked back one time.. You'll find yourself not looking for the Camaro's and such but you'll be looking for the C5's and Cobra's.. Also if you're really GOOD, you'll find a Lighting out there and shock the owner!!

Awesome story Fred. Now I need to know which system you have and are so happy with.

I do believe there's some NOS gas in store for this little Orange Kat of mine!
