Ok, now I've had my Kat for all of 2 months now. So far it has caused one fender bender and many late braking near misses. I have been asked nearly every possible question about the car. But this new one takes the cake for me! I was driving the Kat to work the other morning on the highway top up. A Jetta pulled along side me with four 18-20 year old gals in it. They stayed next to me for a little bit so I looked over... they are waving to me. So I wave back. Cool. Being I'm 34 I'd like to think maybe I could still pull young chicks if I so wanted.... But this had nothing to do with me. After the waving, the girls in the back start blowing kisses.... so I smile and give them a yes nod. So after the kisses, the one girl starts with the tongue. Licking her lips then the window.... wow this is getting distracting.... with my exit approaching I begin to merge right.... then the clincher... as I am just about to slow for the ramp.... Boom... up goes the shirt. She flashed me. I nearly crashed.... Then they all laugh and away they go..... If I were single and a little younger I might have not exited. But all I can say is this car is a riot! It's so much fun I dont know whats next!!!! Thought I would share this one with you all! ------------------ |

Frank, You have engaged what we've been calling here in SoCal or up in Seattle: "Flash Friday". That is on certain Fridays, listening to a DJ named Tom Leykis 97.1FM, you turn on your headlights. If other wild females are listening to the same station at the same time, then you will get flashed. Just like what Beware said "Lucky One" But I am sure it was the Prowler ------------------ This message has been edited by Howler Cat on 03-28-2002 at 07:00 PM |

hmmmmmm...you guys get all the luck. Thankfully for me, my prowler isn't a "chick magnet" since they don't do much for me. And it really doesn't mean much to me when guys flash their chests at me - they're usually about 75 years old! Oh well.....I'll keep my eyes open, just in case. and you're right....it's the car. |

I've got around 30K logged on all my Kat's combined... whole I've gotten flashed a few times... I've yet to pick up on one girl with any of them. But a Harley... with 30K on the clock, I'd have a few dozen by now at least. Now, men, if I was gay (or a female)... I'd be in heaven. ------------------ |

Boy, you burst my bubble! I assumed the reason all those girls have been waving at me in my Prowler was because of my good looks. ------------------ |

C5 Frank, I know how much you Corvette mean't to you and how long you struggled with the decision to get the coolest ride on the road. It's really neat that you should experiance such a breath taking event because of your wise decision to trade your Corvette for a PROWLER. |

Topcat, I'm impressed! What reaction time. I'll bet you could take (perfect).50 lights reguarly? I'm glad to hear that came to your senses and bought a PROWLER. Current apologies; You are no longer a PROWLER wantabee. All is mostly forgiven. It's trure that some PROWLER drivers continue to read every Corvette post that slanders the PROWLER. ?? |

Chromer and Topcat It's funny, I have three cars currently. I originally thought I wouldnt drive the Prowler to much until I sold the Vette. Well you guessed it. I've been driving the Prowler nearly everyday. I can't stop. The Vette still is called upon mostly for the work commute but the Cobra has only been started and not driven. It hasnt moved since the Kat has arrived. Now I plan to sell the Vette at some point (not in a big hurry) but I had hoped to drive my Cobra more too. At this rate my Kat will end up with lots of mileage ..... but that will mean I will have lots of SMILEAGE though.... I love my Prowler!!! ------------------ |
