Tonights blue light special turned out to be a special delivery of our Candy Red Kat. A big thank you goes out to Moe from Reliable Carriers for a first class personal delivery directly from CAAP! Since we were given direct delivery of the Kat, we needed to do a make shift dealer prep, we had to check all the fluids, etc. and I thought it would be appropriate for Moe to sign the car under the carpet of the rear deck next to the transmission filler cap! ------------------ |

Mike, Does that mean that you bought the local K-Mart to better store and display your Prowler collection? I didn't get to sign it. Did CJ sign for both of us? This message has been edited by RPL on 03-23-2002 at 11:27 AM |

Mike, I feel like I know you as a result of all of Gary's positive conversations about you. I think that the whole concept of you getting the "last" production car (red) and having it signed by all involved is a demonstration of “class in action.” With all everyone has been through, owning and driving Prowlers it is amazing that the loyalty and excitement still remains at an all time high. No one deserves owing the "last of the last" as much as you do. Now to the lighter side.... I fully understand that you would like to have the signature of the oldest Prowler owner, in the POA, inscribed on you new machine but I must tell you that the last 14 months have been tough on my 115 year old body. The trip to Texas, although appealing, (meeting some of those big haired honeys) would be difficult at best. I am now starting to realize that my days might be numbered and I have to consider alternatives for eternity. While it is unpleasant to consider, I may not live forever. I just contacted my attorney, Rufus J. Loophole and related to him an idea that might be plausible. It is my thought that while you have all of these signatures on your machine it might be a bid different to have the remains of the oldest Prowler owner (cremated by the famous Atlanta undertaker) interred inside the rear left tire. One way to keep me “around.” I contacted DC, through CJ and her husband and the engineers did some calculations and have determined that the additional weight and organic composition would not have detrimental effects on the performance of the car. Imagine, 30 years from now when the tires have dry rot and they are removed for replacement, the look on the techs face! Goodyear endorses the idea and has already dispatched an engineer to take measurements and density weight calculations. They originally wanted me to reside in the front right tire of Mario’s number 14 car, but I outlived his career. Naturally, you have to consider all of alternatives and I am sure that Mr. Kat (Alley), Larry, Big Ed and several others will have additional thoughts on the subject. I gotta run as my new Hungry Jack one pound chicky meat TV dinner is a popping in the Microwave and I have worked up powerful hunger thinking about all this stuff. Let me know your thoughts… Scot

Mike............you may actually win the T-shirt this week! lol! I don't know Scot, maybe Mike could inter your remains in the gearshift knob somehow........that way, whenever he drives the car you could get the real "feel" of the cat! |

Mike, Goodyear called today and made me a counter offer that is interesting. They want me to donate half of my ashes to Tony Stewart for the number 20 Winston Car labeled Home Depot! Under this scenario Tony will be able to “haul ashes.” Seems as though they are familiar with my exploits at the "Depot" with the local fresh stuffs and they feel that this would be a fitting memorial to all of them as well. They still strongly support the idea of resting, for eternity in your left rear tire, but they thought that half with you and the other half with Tony might help to perpetuate the memory further. Gotta run as NASCAR called and they want to announce this during the fifth pit stop, under the 15 yellow, at Bristol. Scot ------------------ |

Congrats, Mike! I've got an idea on how to break in your new kat: "The 2002 Candy Red Cat-Blue Light Tour" If you parked in each of the 200+ KMarts scheduled to close in the coming months, with the amount of attention you'll draw, you and your Kat could single-handedly save the company! Kevin |

Mike and Judy - CONGRATS! What a beauty, with a deep and rich Mopar history. I'll soon be ready for the ground breaking of the Krehel Prowler Musuem. As the first designated curator and general managing partner, I'll be moving to Houston and be prepared to take over the helm of construction. Please have the bow-tie prepped and ready for me to drive ------------------ AlleyCat Productions, Inc |
