When I was looking, I found a few dealers in my state that had the right color. But they were several hundred miles away and outta their minds on the prices. Bought out of state and saved $5K. I got lots of help from the good people here too! ------------------ |

Dealer in Louisville wanted $55K for a Candy Red, one in Lexington wanted $56.8 for a Mulholland. Whether they want to keep them or not... I think they will be! Another dealer 20min away has a Mulholland at $46K. I almost went for that one until I found my Candy Red in Ohio! Mike |

My dealer has a brand new yellow in the show room. Asking list price. On the contrary, I think all the kcats dealers have will sell. That is why so many hold the price or even up the price and why some are not in a hurry to sell. As time marches on, and remember production only stopped a month ago, there will be two choices of kcat. Used or new. And as time marches on..used becomes even more used. Eventually it becomes a case of pay da man or pay for da fixup and we do know how quickly the price of parts can make used expensive. ------------------ |

AH! Remember too, all current new Chrysler products, including our beloved Kats, have the extended power train warranty. 7 years or 100,000 miles. This promo began late '01 and may continue for sometime yet. (Sez my dealer) If one can get a deal, nows the time. As the number on available new continue to dwindle the price will certainly rise. Economics 101. Since I have mine, I would hope to see the price double. Having a rolling piece of ART is GREAT. Add to that joy the likely possibility that it may not depreciate like the C5's, Jags and BMW. What FUN! No wonder we're always grinning behind the wheel.... its the Kats A#$!!! ------------------ |

There is a dealer here in CT that has a 99' Red for sale that the owner drives and beats on. He wants sticker for the Cat with 900 miles on it and badly pitted chrome wheels. What an idiot! I know in Clearwater, FL the dealer has 3 Cats (Blue, Candy, Yellow) for $60k which all sit outside for a month. Every bold on the car is rusted from the salt air and it looks like CRAP. $60k for rust bucket! Greedy Dealers need to have there hands slapped. If it was a Benz dealer they would have there allocation revoked!! my 2 cents ------------------ |

Brian, let me tell you - They've been out there longer than a month! I drive past them every day to & from work. It's sad that they do this, but rumor has it that there is a deal to be had on the yellow. ------------------ |
