If that is for all four, (front and rear) that is the average price. ------------------ |

GenoTex: As a fellow northerner, is your Kat still in hibernation? How to you store your vehicle? I'm doing as much research as possible before I take the ownership plunge. Kevin |

As BeWare has said that should be the price for all four guards. Kevin, I bought my Kat in December and haven't driven it since I brought it home from the dealer (25 miles). I didn't cover it but used a California duster on it about every three weeks, I've used car covers in the past on other cars but I like the duster better. It wasn't that cold this winter so I didn't use my "Battery Tender" but instead started it once a month for about ten minutes, you can get one from www.eastwoodcompany.com or your local auto parts store might have them. The one I have is part number 25007 and cost $60 plus shipping. Before putting the Kat away for the winter change the oil, wash and polish (including the wheels),I like keeping the top up in the lock position, full tank of gas and that should do it. Al |

A california duster is basically a mop that is treated chemically to attract dust. It does not look like a floor mop since the threads come off the handle at a 90 degree angle. About 2 1/2 feet long. They work great. About $ 15 at Wal-Mart, etc. ------------------ This message has been edited by ed monahan on 03-16-2002 at 01:48 AM |

Geno, you can get one from Wal-Mart like Ed mentioned, if there's a K-Mart still around you they may have it also. If you can't find one here's a link http://store.yahoo.com/rodi/ac62443.html . |

Yes, GenoTex, $64.00 is the correct price. I just paid that for mine for my '02 last week. Consider the cost the cheapest body-chip-preventative insurance possible. ------------------ This message has been edited by Paul on 03-16-2002 at 09:35 AM |
