Steve Yellow, '02. Debated long about a 2001 Mulholland...pretty blue, but I was convinced the yellow was the right choice. In the end, color doesn't really matter. Driving the KAT is just way cool! Would like to buy the chrome grille treatmemt. I'm sure it has been discussed. Can't find a link. Can you /anyone assist? thanks grif |

fgrif, Simply buy door edge guard, preferably in a roll. Clean the wax off the grill fins by washing with dish detergent. Apply it when the weather is warm or use a hair dryer to heat it up to make it more pliable. Start at the top and if you cut one a little too short you can use it on the next lower fin. Simply press it onto the fins and "viola", you have a cheap chrome grill. Alley Cat will then try to claim money from you since he posted it here first, after stealing it from a poor PT owner. Welcome to the POA and post often. If you think driving the cat is fun, wait until you go to an event and meet the rest of the owners. WAY more fun. ------------------ |

Welcome Grif, forget the $9 grill treatment and the $10 AC charges as royalties. My grill was chromed at Custom Coating in Tallahasse, Fl. I do not know how they do it but it is triple chrome plated plastic now. Was done 2 1/2 ~3 years ago and still looks as good as the day I got it back. BEST CHOICE OF COLOR ------------------

Thanks to all for the warm welcome! If any of you ever plan to be in the St Louis area, plz let me know in advance and we'll be glad to host fellow Prowlers. I was at a hot rod show today and saw one '01 jet black prowler. It was stuck off in a corner, but still drew many drooling lookers. This prowler had an air patrol and I was wondering if anyone had experience. Is it worth the $$ or should I spend my $$ on something else. Apologize if this has been discussed previously. Still haven't made it through all the posts. regards grif |
