Here is a copy of "Prowler Pride" published by DC to commemorate the end of Prowler Production and features pictures of the Prowler craftspeople that worked on building our cats. We were told that these photos were taken by DC on Tribute Day, February 8, 2002. I tried to get as many signatures as possible! |

I will scan and post an image of the car later. MTD Prowler Intake System 2.2 This message has been edited by William Gallagher on 02-27-2002 at 11:55 AM |

I think I saw Pauley driving that car. If I didn't I probably will. Cool tribute pictures and I like the final numbers of each color being included. Way to go Judy and Mike. ------------------ This message has been edited by ed monahan on 02-27-2002 at 12:41 PM |

Very Nice, Is the color break down and number produced correct? There are slight discrepancies between the ones on the Facts and States page and this. I'm assuming that the totals from the plant are probably more accurate, but I'm still curious. I've heard stories of special prowlers made for the top executives and charities that don't seem to be accounted for (i.e. the white prowler, the American spirits prowler, etc.). Is there anyway to know for sure? ------------------ |

quote: We haven't updated the Facts and Stats page yet because there seems to be a descrepency in the numbers at CAAP. There seems to be some confusion as to one of the numbers being a 7 or a 1. Once the numbers are finalized, we'll update our info here.

Nice job Judy and Mike Once again you have captured the spirit of the Prowler car, "Smiles" Surely it was the people who built these cars that cause so many other to Smile and Wave when they see one. Would be interested in purchasing a copy if you make them available. ------------------ |

These Commemorative brochures were done internally at the plant by their own communications group. They were kind enough to give Mike and Judy and myself a copy. I asked about getting more for the POA members, but they only printed enough to pass out to the plant workers and were not going to print any more. I guess we could inquire if it would be okay to have more copies printed at a Kinko's or something....... |

For those of you who want to try this. I downloaded these pictures to Polaroid Photomax Pro. I enhanced them by reducing the brightness 10% and increased the contrast %10. I printed them on Glossy Photo paper and they came out looking very good. |

Thank you for the great response to the pictures, I'm sure this makes all the men and women that produced our cars very proud! The signed copy was done as a personal favor for Mike & I as we went through the plant while they produced our car. I did tell them I would put it up on the site for all to see, but never thought about reproducing it. We have to give this some thought. As CJ said, This isn't ours to reproduce. But lets see what we can do. -------------------- |
