It is with great joy that I am submitting my first post on this wonderful web site!!! I just recently initiated a lifetime dream to own one awesome car and to participate in all the activities that go with it! I recently purchased a yellow 2002 Prowler after years of looking for that special two-seat roadster. One of the attributes that helped me decides that the Prowler was “the car” for me was the POA organization and this web site. I have been lurking on this site for about 7 months and have been very impressed with the amount of useful information and sincerely helpful attitude of all POA members who post here. To me this was a huge plus for the enjoyment of owning a truly unique automobile. I send many thanks to those POA members whom I was able to meet in person last December at a local Toys-for-Tots drive in San Diego County. The few POA members I was able to meet were very friendly and helpful in answering all my questions about the Prowler and the POA organization. Once I had decided to purchase a yellow Prowler I went searching. None could be found in San Diego so I travel North to LA. It was on the drive home from the dealer I truly realized how special the Prowler is. I had learned from this web site the Prowler attracts a lot of attention. I did not realize how much attention until the first 20 miles from the dealer. For example, a PT Cruiser shadowed me for awhile then all most missed his exit and had to quickly cross two lanes of traffic to exit. Numerous mini-vans with kids, where little heads would pop up from the rear seats to plaster their noise to the window with mouths wide open. In the short time I have own this work of art, I have been approached by all ages 8-80 and both genders male & female asking about the Prowler. The magic is alive !! I look forward to meeting more of you in the future, the journey has just start. If you see a yellow 02 cruising the California Coastal hwy 101 in San Diego County it might be the Koastal Cat. Kcat PS: Did you know last week the winner of the Daytona 500 was a yellow CAT #22. And today is 02-22-02. It’s a good sign for 02 yellow Cat owners. |

Koastal Cat, welcome. We don't have enough representation from the San Diego region so be sure to be a regular on the board. Be sure to take along aspirin on long Prowler drives. Why? Your sore cheeks might need pain relief from laughin' and grinnin' all the time. It's a hazard for us Cat lovers. ------------------ |
