Recently received one of Larry's new trailer stands. I normally have plenty of room in one of the garages to store the Prowler trailer but I've got to tell you this isn't about room. This is one of those must have things. If you have a trailer, the stand works wonderfully. It's easy to assemble and use. Frees up space and should protect the trailer from possible damage while moving around it. I have other trailers, garden tractors, boats and etc. The trailer was always in the wrong place. With Larry's stand, you find a quiet corner and stand the trailer up on end with the shiney side toward the wall. The soft cover keeps the dust off. You don't have to worry about things bumping into your stored trailer when you aren't using it. I'm not sure how many he has left or if he was going to produce more so if you were thinking about one, don't miss out! JMO |

Thanks for your comments on the stand Bob. You brought up a few reasons to own one that even I hadn't thought of. If anyone is interested, I still have a few in stock and ready to ship. The price is $179.95 plus shipping. Call toll free 1-800-436-2269 to order. |

Can items be stored in it when it is being stored?? mine is full right now where it sits.. I guess you could drop it down when needed to get at it.. not a bad idea.. ------------------ |

John, Yes you can still store everything in it while the trailer stands upright. The only caution I would give is to not store anything liquid in it. Loading the stored items in the rear of the trailer would actually make it even easier to stand the trailer upright. |

Please put me down for one. I will be traveling but hope to call in a day or two. I'm told my trailer will be here in a week. Gordon |

Just realized another benefit of the trailer stand. The bottom of the trailer needs cleaning! Much easier this way, just stand there and clean it. I'm ready to purchase a hoist to store the cars but really it's because I'm anal and insist that the bottom of the car be as clean as the top. Those that know me understand that I'm not kidding. This was a pleasant revelation. I'm getting too old to lay on the floor and clean things anymore. |

quote: Boy, don't I know!!! LOL!! True story.......It was a clear and sunny day, but cold. However, the remaining snow we had on the ground was melting. As I was driving my new Candy Cat home for the first time, I drove down the center lane, so I would not be driving either of the curb lanes and risk driving through any puddles!!! Gasp!!! My cell phone rings.....it's RPL..."Hi, dear! Are you missing all the puddles?" Sheesh!! LOL! Sorry, Bob! This message has been edited by CJ on 02-21-2002 at 07:43 PM |

Maybe Larry could design a Prowler stand and you could stand your car up. Think about it, stand 'em up like Dominos and you might have room for three or four more. You could even designate one as you BAD weather Cat. Then again, maybe not! Happy Prowling Marty ------------------ Driving my Dream |

Help!! I had a message on my desk this morning that "John" called to order a trailer stand. The number given was "xxx-xxx-xxxx". I have called and the number is not a valid number. I called John Davies thinking it may have been him but it was not. (but I did sell him a trailer stand!) John ________ whoever you are, please call me again toll free at 800-436-2269 and I will be happy to take your order. Marty Usher, yours is shipping today. Thanks for your order. Problem solved! John Koonce, your stand will ship on Monday along with JD's. Thanks to you both for the orders. This message has been edited by Larry Lord on 02-22-2002 at 02:14 PM |

Larry, How many trailer stand kits do you have left? There another 120 opportunities out there just waiting for new trailer owners. I hope that you have a few more kits for people because I just found a new use, maintenance. It's really easy to repack both wheel bearings at the same time with the trailer in the stand! |

The trailer is 8' long, trailer & tongue. Add the 3" and 8'3", but if you do not have this much room, keep the shipping tongue and install it when standing it up. Then it will only be maybe 6'. I have my tongue on with pins like in the hitch receiver. Unplug the lights and pull 2 pins and slide the whole tongue out. I can change tongue in about 3 min. It is best to have jack stand or someone to hold trailer when changing. I have done it myself everytime but best to be SAFE. Hope this helps ------------------ |

RPL, Not enough to fill 120 orders but that's easy enough to fix! Maybe the next batch should cost slightly more due to popular request. Just goes to show that the first purchasers had keen insight. |
