My new 01' Silver Cat was delivered today!!! I am so excited. I feel like a little kid at Christmas!! This car is soooo cool. I've wanted one for 3 years, and finally I got it. I like the way I have to fold my 6'2" body to get in it.... The way you can barely see out of it with the top up.... The way everyone has to try to see whos driving.... The way the exhaust sounds (yes even the stock exhaust).... The way the rides like it means business.... The way ... well you get the point. I knew what I was getting, pitfalls and all. From how I see it the pitfalls give the car even more character! It also insures that only the true Prowler fans need apply for ownership! I know every one of you has felt the same thing that I am feeling, and I know it will fade some with time, but I think this car has to be the best way to reward yourself..... See you soon!!!! Need a new name too.... any ideas? ------------------ |

C5, The fun has not faded for us and we have had ours 2 1/2 years. If you really want some fun and want to meet some really great folks join us at some or all of the Prowler events. Louisville KY May 17th , Colorado June 7th , Woodward Drean Cruise in August. ------------------

Congratulations on your new cat, Frank!! One thing though............the feeling NEVER fades!!!  Re: a new name....... The symbol for silver is also associated wth the moon in astrology. How about Silver Moon? OR Silver is sprinkled on clouds to help it rain, and since you are on Cloud 9 right now.....how about Silver Cloud?? OR A synonym for Sterling is flawless or pure......so how about Sterling Silver? ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

Good choice C5, as an owner of a y2k C5 and a Prowler I can tell you that the feeling about your Prowler will NEVER fade. Sure the C5 just flat out kicks *** , but the Prowler is a feeling that you just can not get over. Got to go finish waxing the Prowler. ENJOY! ------------------ |

Feelings Fade? I DON'T THINK SO when I seen mine at the dealer the 1st time I had a funny feeling come over me that YES, this was my car. I was out in the garage tonight working on the daily driver(more like daily work on anymore) for the wife and seen the cat in it's place and the feeling of a special car is still there 3 1/2 years later.
On the name, as long as Primer isn't in it I think it will be OK, LOL ------------------
