On February 15th, 2002 at 12:57 PM EST The last Prowler rolled off the line as production ended here at CAAP. We took hundreds of pictures and nearly two hours of videos following the cars through the production line. It's probably going to take several days to put together a complete gallery, but we'll have it up soon! Once again, Thank you to all the wonderful men and women at CAAP that built the worlds most awesome production hotrod and so graciously allowed us to share the past three days with them! Here are a few pictures from today: A thumbs up after I cranked the engine for the very first time on the very last Candy Red Prowler produced I even got to drive it off the final station! Sitting on the "Roll Machine" putting the kat through diagnostic tests and paces Going through the spray tunnel to test for water leaks The last Candy Red is Ready to roll |

The Electric Blue Prowler was offically the last Prowler off the production line. Here's a shot of many of the proud men and women that made it possible. Going through the "Roll Machine" Here's a shot of the screen of the computer at the last production line station. You can see the tracking number, VIN number and the response on the next vehicle Here's a shot looking down the line after the last kat rolled off The completed Electric Blue Prowler looking good! |

Mike, Judy and you are two lucky people. What a great week you two had this week. Congratulations! That Blue looks awesome. Is your blue project similar in color? It looks like the workers were in a pretty good mood at Boney Moroneys. I hope they truly realize how much all of us appreciate the fine job they did. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. ------------------ |

What a way for a Prowler enthusiast to be envolved. Who says money can't buy happiness? I notice that the piece of frame sticking in front of the rear wheel is still silver? Clear anodized?-or not at all? ------------------ |

Mike, what at thrill to assist your car down the line. Whatever eventually happens to your Deep Candy Red in the future, I am sure you'll never forget the sensation of seeing the rear wheels rolling down the last short ramp and off the production line and into history. ------------------ |

Al, Yes, the frame on the Electric Blue was clear anodized. I've got quite a few pictures of it and will be posting more details and pictures of some of the unique touches that were added to this one of a kind car. Bill, I'll have a lot more pictures later including information on the entire production process once I get back to Houston and get a little rest. ------------------ |

Sorry Alex, hate to disagree ... but the Walter P. Chrysler museum would be a better place for a piece of automotive history like the Last Production Prowler. Sorry Mike, but you have cornered the market on every other unique production Kat (except first production saleable Candy Red) made to date ... Think THIS car should be were people can see it and understand the contribution that Plymouth/Chrysler made to the automotive world ... either THAT or in MY garage ... but I don't have the room so ... just a thought |

I think the last Cat needs to cruise. Putting it in the museum should wait a few years. I was at the museum for the first time last weekend and I was impressed, but its no place for the last Cat.......yet. ------------------ |

Great pictures and Thanks for sharing. I am looking forward to seeing more. As far as the Chrysler Museum goes they have not even seen fit to display the Prowler Concept much last the last Prowler. I just hope somebody gets it who appreciates the car and not just its value as the last Prowler ------------------ |

Rich: There is a Prowler in the Museum basement and people are allowed to sit in it. I think that's better than roped off somewhere and nobody can touch it. ------------------ |
