Can I get some tips/info on what to look out for on the Prowler? Things I've heard are it's hard to park. (Not a big deal I've had a few cars with long noses and limited visibility I don't consider that a problem. Just gotta learn how to park is all which I do) People say mudflaps. Does it collect that badly or is it that they prevent chips better? I've read the a/c is only so-so and that it overheats in stop-n-go traffic. =( bummer. Another question I have is do they make good aftermarket rims? I haven't really noticed anyone with aftermarket rims on their Kats so I was curious. Thanks for the info and anything you can add to keep my ride from blowing up is a plus. |

I live in the South. It has never even come close to overheating. Just runs slightly warmer than normal in grid lock traffic during the hottest months. There are a few aftermarket rims but I like the ones I have (silver) so I have not pursued them. just about everything else is covered the thread David posted. ------------------ |

I'd add that is is a good idea to locate and talk to your nearest Prowler Tech in the service department you hope to use. Some dealers may not have one others have only one. I found the guys who work on the car really enjoy talking about it and spending some time with you since the car is very special. At least mine does. There is a lot of info and tips only he can give you unless you read the manuals. Gordon |
