Again, what a nice group of people...approx 30 people showed up from all over the USA to attend the plant tour, museum tour and the Detroit Auto Show....lots of stories traded, lots of new friendships made and just a plain old good time....I have been on the plant tour several times, but it is just as exciting every time I go....If you have never been, you MUST attend the "FAREWELL TOUR" Feb 8th...A big thanx to all those responsible for the fun, and a special thanx to CJ and Bob for making it happen again... We also had a great time. It was fun going on the plant tour and just meeting everyone. This was the first Prowler event we've attended, and we look forward to going to some others this year. CJ and Bob, thanks so much for you time and effort in organizing this event and for all the helpful information you provide. Also a big thanks to Mike Krehel for this site. I don't think I can count the numer of times someone mentioned how wonderful this website is or how it has improved their experience of owning a Prowler.

A reprieve for those who didn't make the CAAP/Auto show trip. Feb 8 (Friday) is the CAAP farewell and it looks like there will be a big crowd gathering. We had a great time this weekend with a great bunch of new faces who made themselves right at home. Few highlights: Larry "Tang N Blue"..Bell, hands in the underwear story is great, January in MI he brought the cat and forgot the pants. Larry "just 1 more photo before we go", and "where are all my calendar photos" Mayes..what Sue puts up with! In Greektown, Tom "has this lunch been eaten before" Mills...what Sue puts up with! Trey from Philly, "should I get flaps or not?..doesn't matter cause I'm afraid to drive my car anyway." Gordan and Annie .."all the way from Atlanta for a dumb car show...AND IT WAS WORTH IT!..Karns Jim E and Debbie, "gosh we hate to take off, but WE HAVE TO GO TO THE WINTER OLYMPICS" CJ.."see I can do this on no sleep for 4 days, Can't wait to get the red kitty" Longstreth. and lots of folks that weren't there.."but we got to laugh at you anyway while watching Crazyhorse and Woodward videos"...back at the Homestead Suites Hotel. CJ and Bob, thanks for the effort, everyone had a great time. And yes I think everyone staying at your house for the Feb 8th meeting is a great idea! ------------------ This message has been edited by MIKE GATLIN on 01-20-2002 at 02:13 PM |

Made it through the snow and arrived back in NJ at 2:30AM. What a blast!!! It was great meeting all of the many different Prowler owners that showed up for this event. CJ and Bob, cannot thank you enough for all you did putting this together and for all your time and effort. The Final Tribute should be a must for all Prowler owners. Looking forward to future events with all of you. Rex ------------------ |

It was great meeting everyone and packing so much into a day and a half! CAAP tour(have a greater appreciation for the hand made vehicle I proudly own), Chrysler Museum and Detroit Auto Show were great but the best part for (me after driving almost 600 miles each way) was talking to the many knowledgeable and enthusiastic Prowler owners. Thanks again CJ and Bob for all the gratis hard work making my trip a memorable one. Unfortunately I'll be out of the country on a Caribbean cruise for the 2/8 party but I'll be thinking of all the fun your having. Thanks to banzairex for asking me to drive out to Detroit with him in his RV and allowing me the opportunity to experience in person the birthing chamber of our "cats" before the February shutdown. ------------------ |

Just so you know Mr. Roussel, 48 today, supposed to be 50+ Monday. Its possible you've had more snow than we have, which is none at the moment. Unfortunatly we can't promise that it will hold, but we can hope! See you on the 8th. ------------------ |
