How many different color PLYMOUTH hood badges exist? The Purple Cat has a BLUE badge and I know there were BLACK, YELLOW, RED & ORANGE. What about the Black Tie & Woodward? There was never a Purple badge, was there? Thanks in advance

Ed, I did some research on these early Dec & kinda stopped. All the Plymouths were colored coded (purple, yellow, black, red, silver, orange & blue). The Woodward & Black-Tie would have used the black is my guess since the hoods were black.
All Chrysler have a black hood badge.

I have the part #s. However, some didn't match paint codes. I thought the only way to insure they were correct would be to order a set. The costs was a little too high & I didn't. The list price is around $65 to 70 if I remember correctly for each one... So, I don't want to post something that may not be right.

I sent you an email with the p/ns. Here's the list...

Here's the p/ns I have...

4815619 ........Plymouth emblem purple
SL76KS7AA ......Plymouth emblem silver
SL76SBFAA ......Plymouth emblem blue
SL76VRDAA ......Plymouth emblem red
SL76VXTAA ......Plymouth emblem black
SL76VY3AA ......Plymouth emblem yellow
SL76YVFAA ......Plymouth emblem orange

UW47VXTAA .... Chrysler emblem black

These are from the parts system & we had to use 97, 99, 00, 01 model years to get them...

Here is an update, in case anyone else is considering buying them to make a shadow box display or whatever. The first number Laddie listed now refers over to the other blue number, therefore there are six different colors, supposedly. I ordered all 6 and will get them tomorrow or whenever. They were all $ 47 except the orange was $ 42, go figure. I don't have the bill in front of me but it was just about $300 with tax. All the other numbers Laddie listed are correct. Thanks for the help Laddie, as usual you came through. Thanks Rich & Brian. Anyone else aware of any different color PLYMOUTH Prowler hood badges?

Does anybody have a price for the Chrysler hood badge?

Ironically, today I just networked with a gentleman who may be able to cast the custom hood badges I have been wanting to do. It would be great to get a Chysler badge to start off with rather than completely reinventing the wheel.

My 2001 orange kat is, sadly, away in a storage bin under its blanket now, but as I recall it has an all-silver Chrystler hood badge. I remember being a little disappointed that it didn't have the gold Chrysler emblem found on other cars.

My Woodward Edition has an all silver shield. Maybe CJ would know what would be the correct one the woodwards should have.

Just looked at pumpkin's badge, which is a Plymouth 2001 orange and the background is orange. The badge is off the car and on our prowler display board.

Mullins827, it sounds like you got cheated out of some black paint. It will be interesting to see if anyone else has an all silver badge on their Woodward.

Andy, what am I missing? I don't get it, seriously.
I picked up the 6 hood ornaments today. They are Blue, Yellow, Black, Red, Silver and Orange. Does anyone else have a different colored hood ornament? Was there ever a Purple, or were they all blue? They look pretty good and I bought a really nice frame from a coin shop. Sandy will have to do the final layout. Thanks for the input and help.

Thanks for clearing that up Butchcee. I forgot to ask Andy in person what he was talking about. I guess it was from some movie I never saw.
