Just got off the phone with a writer for a major magazine. I mentioned that I got a new 2002 Yellow prowler and he stated..that yellow was the hot color of 2002, not only picked out by DC, but GM and Ford both are planing a few car packages around the color. The auto show will have a lot of yellow too. After which I went to the grocery store's magazine stand, yellow was being shown as the predominant color of choice for 2002. You be happy with the yellow. With my 2000 yellow I get a lot of compliments. The thing I am disappointed in is that DC started the production of yellow again. They should of just stayed with the production for 2 years like all the other colors. The colors are what makes the production years. |

Debbie ... You are correct ... color and year help to define and distinguish a model ... and "some" feel that the color they own at the time is the "best" color ... so be it ... but as to '02 being associated with yellow ... I hardly thing that can be a conclussion this early in the automobile production year ... after all, it WAS Chevrolet and Corvette that define Y2K as Millenium Yellow year, not DC or Ford ... let's keep our facts straight here. |

I believe my source....yellow will blossom in 2002...the 2 vipers at the autoshow will be silver and yellow from what I am told. Look at the new for Mustang 2002, Zinc yellow. I chose my 02 kat in part because I thought this was goin to be the last production year.....Time of course will tell that!!!! I took a Gold one because I thought the color was unique and not often seen, but I do think the 02 year will be remembered by the candy RED..... All Prowler colors are great colors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ------------------ |

Color matters, for cars as well as people ... and I agree that Candy Red will mark '02 as a defining year ... just as previous colors have done. But the Detroit auto show is "just one show" and NOT indicative of what the "year" will be remembered as ... "sources" or not ... too funny!!! LMFAO |

Ain't that the truth! I don't think there is a bad one. No matter what color, the Prowler is a knock-out! (Just ask the guy at the stop sign who has the right of way, but just sits there with his chin in his lap!) ------------------ |

As for the color I ofcourse picked yellow, I have a yellow chanllenger it stops and makes forlookers so my 02 pro is yellow too, but with the rest of the pros in mind they are all in a class by themselves, it would be great just to see all of us crusin down the road together ProwlynRich |

Well....I think yellow is best also, but I sure wish someone would invent a car wax that included a bug repelent (carnuba + citronela). You have to stay out of the grass at the car shows! ------------------ |

Dear Sasy Mama, Everyone knows that YELLOW is the coolest and we are so glad you are happy with your YELLOW!!! However; If it were me I would have waited to see what the Candy Red looked like. Who knows, they may discontinue the Prowler and the Candy Red may be the last color and most rare and sought after color ever? The most important thing is that you are happy with YELLOW. Thanks Chromer The old man just ordered one about an hour ago. And my brother order his a while ago one and my cousin is getting one. All from the Michigan area. I still like the yellow..but the red will be a treat. |
