Do you find most dealers now selling invoice or below? What have you found in your area and what area are you in. I am interested in making a statistical geographic study on the prowler's price from coast to coast. Sassy |

These must be new, untitled vehicles. 5K under invoice is impossible for a dealer to do. |

Sometimes a dealer will cut their losses instead of paying interest on a vehicle they think they cannot sell "at price" ------------------ |

There's a couple of dealers in my area that will sell their Kats below invoice. The service manager at the dealer I go to for service asked the other day if I wanted a Mulholland cheap. I asked him how much and since he is not a salesman he wouldn't say but he hinted that if I was serious it would be somewhere in high the 30's. Not that I could afford it right now. He said that they want it off the floor by the end of the year. Voodoo |

Just went to the dealership in Carlsbad. They wanted base price $45,000 plus an additional $10,000 premium and destination charge. So $55K for an '02 Prowler Inca Gold. I've already been informed to avoid the Carlsbad dealer and that I could get it at list price elsewhere. |

BlackMax, you ought to print out this thread and give it to the idiot. For 96 K you ought to get both cars and a matching trailer for each one. ------------------ |

MSRP list from a local dealer now, is still a good buy. If you go elsewhere out of state to save a grand, you still have to get the car home, and some of the headaches that go with title papers, etc. I think you could go into any dealership today, with a check made out for $500 over invoice cost, and drive it home. December is not usually a good month for any dealer. ------------------ |
