When the Prowler is no longer in production, what is the opinion of the Prowler Nation as to the best color overall? I have a red '99 that I bought specifically for the bright red color. My personal choices in order of preference are:

#1 Bright red

#2 Yellow

#3 Woodward Edition

#4 Black Tie

#5 and down...no order of preference.

Any other thoughts? Thanks,

Mike

Color is a very touchy subject that sometimes causes people to get ugly, ok some of us already are, and you know who we are

I like them all. Some better than others but they are all very cool cars. I have not seen an ugly Prowler yet, OK there was one but I will not talk about it

I had a `71 `Cuda Convertible in curious yellow. I hated that color and if I had repainted it back then it would NOT have been that color. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT CAR BACK and I would not want it to be different than the way it came out of the factory other than a set of period correct style Crager S/S wheels and radial tires. Even the magnum 500 wheels looked great on it.

But if I had to vote, I would have to vote for YELLOW....not because I have yellow...but I could have my mind changed with the CANDY RED

My first choice would, of course, be yellow, but I also like purple since it was the first color.

oh boy,

BLUE is KOOL and definitely classy, makes me drool and my lady sassy.

Yellow's not bad and brightens your day, but BLUE is the hue for romance and play!

Red is real cheery, and easy to spot, but smokey sees clearly, so fines you'll pay dearly.

Purple is cool, what else can I say,
but BLUE is the jewel at the end of the day.

Jet black is alright as it slips out of sight,
with darkness and thunder, it prowls through the night.

Silver is precious, some say more than Gold,
but both lose their luster when Midnight unfolds.

Woodwards and Black Ties are few and unique,
when BLUE comes around they take a back seat.

What about Orange, it's bright in the light,
but just like a candle it melts out of sight.

I guess i vote BLUE!!!!!!

without a doubt yellow and candy red would have to be, I've been to too many car shows and the yellow get's looked at the most, but watch out for this candy red some competition, as for all the other colors they are good also, sum it up
black- looks killer at night, hard to keep clean
silver- very classy
red- here come the cops
woodward- nice
black tie- wheres the wedding?
orange- sharp
gold- don't know yet?
purple- origional cat
candy- wild
yellow- classy and sporty, mix of both worlds
so you see we all have great kat's but this is my honest opinion, again this is from what people say at car shows, no one should be ashamed or think ones better because i feel as a group, we are all one!!!!!!!!!!!! god bless

Next in line would be Candy Red and followed by Dark Green Metallic, of which there were only two built.......owned by Ed and Edna Monahan.

I have to agree with WILDCAT. I really do like them all to some extent. Color is a personal choice. If I did not have a black I would have to look at the new Candy Red or Yellow first, but I really like the Orange and of course the first color - Purple, it's the color of the car I first saw and fell in love with.

Blue is the closest to black so there is no doubt I like the way it looks, although I still have never seen one in person. The Woodward would be perfect for University of Louisville tailgating, and the Black Tie is nothing but classy. I like the way Silver and Gold shimmer in sunlight. Red is always a favorite for sports cars and street rods.

The great thing is they are all colors on the BEST CAR - PROWLER.

BLACK is the best

Unfortunantly color is sometimes the only thing that makes our cars different. How many times I've heard people say the only reason I don't have a Prowler is because they are all the same.

I believe my prowler to be part of my family in a certain way, just like them whether they have brown hair or blond does not matter...

What matters is the love for your car!

Color should not even be an issue!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah the color battle continues such a relief. I was afraid our passion for truly personal insight had been lost in the quest for performance.

Yellow Rules 1999 Yellow of course!!!!!

I would have to agree with Rudy. The most classy colors (in order of preference) are:
1. Burnt Orange
2. Burnt Orange
3. Burnt Orange
4. Burnt Orange
5. Everything else.

------------------
2001 Burnt Orange Prowler
1998 Unlimited RPMs Sand Car (360HP turbocharged Mazda rotary)
1995 Ford F-350 crew cab with lots of dents
1997 Chevy Suburban that my wife is treating to a slow death
