I bought the Inca Gold yesterday. It looks nice out in the sun and not on grass like the photo. Dr. Rue did a nice job on the pin striping but he sure dribbled a lot of drops of strip paint. I also received the 02 prowler brochure and a large paint sample of the candy red from Pablo @ DC, I can hardly wait. I bought the Inca Gold in Iowa and got it for $44,000 invoice was $43980, didnt seem to bad of a deal, they through in front and rear flaps as well. ------------------ |

Oyster man - glad to see you pumping up the economy! Great price also,,,,,,,,,,must mean there are lots of cats sitting still? You need a new banner again, and be careful, Wisconsin may become the home of the BOBKAT Prowler Museum ------------------ |

You scored. A lot of folks debate about the Gold, but if you love it, you,ll never regret it. Drive it as much as you can before winter sets in, and hope for those special days in midwinter when it happens to be warm and the roads are clear--you'll be a one car parade. ------------------ |

If I could find 9 drivers I would have my own parade. I have to buy a couple more we have the candy red ordered and i need a purple. that will make 11 I think. I am also in need of a larger garage, I will build that in the spring. ------------------ |

Thats one helluva deal, buying an 02 that far under invoice is great! I have heard a few different invoice prices, $43,850, $43,980 and even one I heard at $44296. I saw the invoice for this car and it was $43,980, a dealer in Minnesota wanted $45,500 and their invoice was $44,296. The flaps are only worth a $100 and I could have found the car for around $43,500- $43,900 but I was already in Iowa on a trip and I didnt have to transport it very far. I hate to say it but we were driving our black prowler and trailer and the gold on the flat bed was getting way more looks, to me its like the orange, it grows on you. I bought the new Mullholland from the fella who won it at the casino here for $33,500, the dealer sold it to the casino for $50,000 and he had to pay income tax on the sticker price of $46,000, this gets me under luxury tax to. I am glad I waited, I almost bought it for $44,900 from the dealer before the casino came in. ------------------ |

Congratulations, Bobkat.......does it never end? LOL!! As you guys are talking about the new red color, please remember that it is called "Candy Red"......NOT "Candy Apple Red". I posted a picture of the paint chip on another thread a while ago and although it is hard to photograph, it doesn't do the color justice. However, also remember that it is NOT the "Candy Apple Reds" of the old hot rod days. Just don't want anyone disappointed! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

Maybe we should change your name from BOBCAT to CATMAN, with all of the recent purchases you have made I should take a look at Chrysler stock again! Hey I was thinking if the rest of the week goes well about coming up to SEE YA MISTER and I would be more than happy to drive one of those cars, give me a call at the shop. |
