Hi, All! How does that song go? "Another day in Paradise"? Woodward Avenue is hoppin' already. I spent 3 1/2 hours yesterday morning cleaning up the cat. After Bob spent all day Saturday, waxing, polishing and detailing the car we ended up having to drive on some wet roads where it had rained. Argh!! She's back to beautiful now, though! Received a phone call from Rich and Linda Ware in the late afternoon that they had just arrived at their hotel! Had left Sydney, OH early in the morning. Just below Bowling Green, OH, they ran into some construction on I-75. They were using concrete saws, the kind they use with water, and the concrete/water mixture was all over the roads. They had to drive right through it! Rich said his car and trailer was covered about half way up with it. They got off the interstate and found a car wash in Bowling Green, where they washed the car and trailer. About an hour and a half later, it was finally clean. He said it was harder to get off the bra than the trailer and he was worried it was not going to come off the car at all. He said it didn't just come off with the sprayer. Had to get a bucket and soap out! All is better now, though! Bob and I picked up JD at the airport and we met John Schulz at a gas station there. We drove to the hotels via Woodward so we could see what was going on! Tons of cars cruising Woodward already. There had to be several hundred cars in the parking lot at 13/Woodward!!! By the time we got everyone checked into their hotels, picked up cars, picked up Rich and Linda and picked up my cat and got back to Woodward it was about 9:00 pm. There were still cars out, but most of us had not eaten, so we stopped at Duggans Pub for some dinner (it's next to the Donut place! LOL). They have an upper level that is open-air so you can sit and watch the activity on the street. We had dinner, lots of conversation and lots of laughs! JD even had a surprise birthday dessert (thanks to GPS John) and we all shared! Didn't get back to the hotels until about 1:30 a.m.! Oops! Poor Bob, he has to go to work today!! The rest of us are cruising up to Frankenmuth, Mi for the day! Later, dinner and back to Woodward for more cruising!! Carol was supposed to go with us to Frankenmuth, but now she won't be able. Hope she will be able to hook up with us tonight for cruising. JD asked me to post some pictures that he took yesterday! Another day report tonight. Hope the rest of you get here soon!! It's getting better every day!!!!! Jeep Truck Engineering (JTE) - Where Bob works!!
