Finally got my custom license plate. I put in request for various cat/kat names and all came back rejected. I guess all the University of Kentucky fans here have used up all the feline plates. Sooooo, as of today my 2000 black is the "BADLUC" cat. My wife says I shouldn't put out negative energy but I like to think it is the bad luck of the people reading the plate that I am driving the Prowler and not them! ------------------ |

Marty is in your face!! Really, that's cool, it's not too negative. My Prowler is "Prowl 99" all other Prowler varieties were taken. This one was actually taken before but someone turned it back in, must have sold their cat. (It may have been the original plate on my car because the first owner also lived in Ohio.) I also just got plates on the Viper, "I Bite". They had to get special permission from BMV management because I guess Ohio doesn't like people biting each other. Because it is for a Viper, they allowed it. ------------------ |

Oh hey, I almost forgot. I got "Collector's" plates for both the Cat and Snake. Only $5 more per year, and you never have to get Emission Check!!! Maybe other states could do the same for anyone interested. ------------------ |

Andy - Kentucky does not have that option. Just being able to skip emission testing would make it a good option. MY next door neighbor when I lived inn Columbus was (still is, I think) head programer for Ohio DMV. She has said you would not beleive some of the names requested on plates. She jokes about writing a book listing a bunch of them when she retires. See you next week in Detroit!! ------------------ |

Cali DMV turned down, after initially saying ok, to my plate I better not say what it was, being a family channel. ------------------ |

Since you are probably in front of whomever reads the plate who cares. It's read it and weep because they don't have a Prowler. Ghostrider ------------------ |
