hey, i joined the POA back in april and i've been posting different topics eversince. I'm only 14 and i didn't tell anyone this because i thought the members wouldn't pay attention to my threads. I live with my parents and my two brothers, one is 16 and the other is 8. My dad saw a prowler almost a year ago and asked me to find him a prowler so he can get one for himself. In december 2000, i found one at a reasonable price (most prowlers were $65K because they were in california). I had been an auto enthusiast since forever and when we got the prowler, i was living both a teenager's dream and an enthusiasts dream. I'm an honor student at my high school in santa monica and i will be a sophomore this fall. I check the POA everyday after i get home and a couple times after that. MY whole family loves the prowler but my mom has driven it only 5 times since we bought it because she says its too hard to drive...yeah right. I've driven the prowler plenty of times and i love it. My older brother and me always cruise around in the kat. Sometimes he picks me up from school in it and we get some ice cream. I just wanted all of you to know that dkla12 is a 14 year old. I will be a part of POA forever and for now on i'll share any news i have with all of you. I'm sorry i didn't admit to being so young before. Thanks for everything and i will be taking some pictures of myself with the cat and posting them soon, i will also try to get a banner (how can i get a banner?). thanks again, bye for now. P.S. Any ideas for my old brother's first car. ------------------ |

My dad was pulling out of the garage and the bumper hit a cabinet on the side and i thought it wasn't covered under the warranty but it was. I just took it to the dealer and got a new one free of charge with no labor fees. The technician told me how to take it off in case i wanted to modify the kat later on. THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT. ------------------ |

Nobody's purrfect. Your Dad must love the Kat too. If you need any help, just ask. If you search, there's always someone who understands. ------------------ |

My dad and me are very close. When i tell my friends the kinds of things my dad and me talk about, they get really surprised and model their relationships with their parents after mine. The prowler is another way of my dad and me spending time together, we cruise down PCH together and he has already started teaching me how to drive eventhough i don't have my permit. i couldn't ask for a better father. By the way, i forgot to say that my name is Danny. ------------------ |

Danny - I started to learn to drive when I was 12, taught my daughter at age 12, and by 16 she was many years ahead of her friends in understanding driving skills and courtesy to others. Ed didn't get his permit until 44 years old, license at 46, and is still a lousy driver. He flunked the test four times, and they passed him by waiver! Do not read his posts, as his thoughts are not fluent. Always read mine, and accept them as the real facts you can bank on (affluent). lol Glad to have you aboard Danny |

WARNING to Alley Cat. Someone is posting in your name. I know that last post did not come from you as the spelling was correct and there were complete sentences and the whole thing made some sense. Mike K can you put a trace on that last post, we have been invaded for sure. lol |

Ed - you may be right. My brother MadMax may have stolen my ID and password? I could have not made that post, using all the correct nomenclature. He envies my power of zen

Danny, I'm sure my sons (8 and 10) have the same feeling about my Prowler. They not only want to drive it , they actually help clean it! Besides the obvious reasons for owning the car, they "really" think its cool, rad, fly, ..or something like that. They collect die-cast cars, mostly Prowlers, GTO's, and other muscle cars. If you have the "bug" at this age, who knows maybe I'll be driving one of your designs soon! Great times happen always in the mind and heart. ------------------ |
