Thanks to Lance, I should be getting my Orange Kat next week some time. I figure I might as well go for personalized plates when I get it registered and I just wanted some opinions or ideas on what to put on them. I get 6 letters. Here are some of my ideas. PROWLR Thats it for now. I guess I should come up with a few more. Any suggestions? -Pete |

Yea, dumb me thought of doing a search just as I pressed the submit button. Now I am just trying to figure out a way to check if all of my suggestions are being used in TX. I have found searches for other states (and pay services for TX), but no free searches in TX. Just have to dig deeper I guess. -Pete |

ConGrats Pete! On the plates, there is a phone number to call and they can tell you what is taken. Call the Tax Office and they can give you that number. I called for my PRWLYN and I must have read off 12 choices before she said that was not taken.. Good Luck and I'll expect to see you at some of our events in this area... How about CPRCAT for copper cat Obvious choices include PROWLR, PRWLER, KTYKAT I have 8 letters and have the plates PPROWLER and PROWLERR ------------------ |

How about RNG KAT - Arnge (Orange) Kat. I put in for my personalized plates before the kat was even delivered - RBLU KAT - but after 2 1/2 months of them sending it back to me (they couldn't decide how much I was supposed to pay for the plate - kept changing the amount on me) - I finally got a letter saying it would be in in 4-6 weeks - but it was my first choice - it was RBLU CAT instead... I was really disappointed (wonder who took it while my mail was travelling back and forth between Piru and Sacramento). Anyway - I put in for a second one I will use instead if it is approved D PROWLR. ------------------ |

HouTexan,Congrats on your new Prowler. I just purchased mine two weeks ago.(Black) I bought mine in Beaumont,TX. I live in Port Arthur TX. My personalized plates have R U N V US some people ask me what does that mean? I tell them to say each letter,but when they get to the US to say the word. If you want another idea you can try R U N V S. |
