Everyone talks about the poor color selection of the Prowler and now the nose dive in resale value. I have a hypothetical qustion. If D-C offered to buy back your Cat at sticker price, or what you paid for it BELOW sticker, but no more than sticker, would you sell it back to them? You would not be able to buy another Prowler, not even in your spouse or children's name (or grandchildren, etc). Would you sell or would you keep it? I would keep it. I was at the dealer today and he showed me a paint sample for the new gold, and I think it looks pretty good. They are going to make more silver next year, also. I had not been in the dealership with the Prowler for quite some time and all of the salesman were impressed by the painted bumpers. I got the chrome bezel for the gear shift today and installed that and a chrome knob. Looks a lot better. Thanks Tom G. |

The only way I would sell mine back would be to get another Prowler and I have yet to see a color that I would rather have. ------------------ |

No matter what, unless I was desperate and needed the money, I'd never sell...of course, unless it was to do another Prowler upgrade...like a stick shift...or some other fabulous color..and not Gold Lame'.... The Prowler is different than any other car that I have ever owned...It is certainly an emotional attachment..ask Jay Harris how many nights he's spent in his garage just sitting in the Kat... ------------------ |

I have the color I want............I don't ever intend to sell it, so I don't care about resale value.............so, why would I want to sell it back............NO! ------------------ |

There are only three words that DC can say to change my mind: CANDY APPLE RED. As long as they do not screw up the color or put a pin stripe on it, it would be a done deal that my current red Prowler would be sold/traded. ------------------ |

I too love the red that I have now and yes I would buy the candy apple red if made. Review my past post and you will see I predict they will make it. I never have worried about what I gave for my Prowler or any other grown up toys . Why not be happy as the undertaker does not have a way to pack money in your casket. Don't worry about what price the Prowler may go to. If you are happy then you have spent your money well. Buy more !!!!!!!!! |

Read my previous posts over the past year. Prowler values will decline for the next decade. The decline in value is expected. No, the 6th decrease in interest rates in one year by the fed won't increase secondary mkt. values of Prowlers. Would I buy a weekend driver car again????? Hockey pucks in a garage, high school kids who play hockey and cars don't mix. So far, no fatalities. ------------------ |
