I would like to see how many people would be interested in purchasing the chrome 300m shift knobs for their prowler. I have a buddy who works at a dealer who can get them for me at a resonable price. I just ordered one to make sure it is the correct shifter knob. But if it does turn out to be the right one then i will be offering these knobs at $60 a piece shipped I will keep everyone updated. For those of you who will want them please post your name and email here so i can get back to you if this all works out well. Thanks. ------------------ Amsoil Engine and Tranny Fluid This message has been edited by fortknox82 on 06-15-2001 at 01:19 PM |

Has anyone tried that 300M shift knob yet? I tried to get one from my local dealer and they told me that the chrome knob was not available. All they could get was the black one. |

Today at the dealer the parts guy told me he was going to pull one off of a new 300 for me, a few weeks ago. The chrome shifter knob is listed as an option on the New Car Window Sticker so that is why he could not. He did a national search and could not find one. I have since gotten one from Tom Mills but did not install it as I am waiting for the chrome bezel since I will have to take the knob off to install that. Or I will sell it to the highest bidder at Deadwood!! lol |

OK Everyone here is a little update on my situation. It is true that DC has superseded the chrome shift part number to the all leather knob. Right now i am currently having him go back to DC to see what he can find out or to see if he can find any more stock of the knobs. Sorry guys, i thought i might be able to help out but i guess not at this rate.... ------------------ Amsoil Engine and Tranny Fluid |
