I have looked at every store I go in, and have yet to see one. Gold Rush must still be on in the southwest. Ed, if you find an extra, pick one up for me. |

Don't ever feel dumb asking any question. That's what this site and we are here for!! I'm not really sure of the reason why they changed from the concept vehicle, but that was not the only thing they changed. The headlights and the bumpers were also re-designed from the original concept vehicle. With reference to the Goldrush: Larry Mayes (Wildcat) has a custom Prowler that was a Points Champion for 1999-2000 season of ISCA (International Show Car Association. Johnny Lightning has made a diecast model of his Prowler. Since it has been released, all the Prowler owners (and obviously other collectors) have been running around buying up all of the models. Seems they are getting harder and harder to find. I still haven't been able to find one at any of my local stores.

I wonder if they were only released regionally. I have not paid attention to who found them in stores. I bought 52 of them in Cincy and N. Ky. but the last few weeks I don't see that line of cars in the stores, they have brought out several new lines of Johnny Lightning. I still need a 69 Camaro Pace Car, if anyone sees it. I have never found a white interior Wildcat car. Sasquatch, I have you covered. I will take the 29 cents I owe you off of the $1000.00 I am going to charge you for the car. lol. |

I have been looking but NO LUCK finding any lately There was 15,000 and less than 10% had the white interior. I do have one (got from JL) but have not been able to buy one. Ted in Florida has one, I signed it without even realizing it until after I signed it. PK no dumb ? but you will get some dumb answers LOL ------------------ |

I guess I will do a 180, U turn. I found 2 more today at Toys R Us in Florence, KY while looking for the pace car and Starting Line ups. Still no White Lightning, however. |

I saw one at Toys R Us just the other day but there was something wrong with the rear wheel. Just didn't look right so I did not purchase it. I already have 4 or 5. ------------------ |
