Got my weekender from Real Rod. The color match is not exact - the weekender has more black and too much pearl coat and not enough royal blue. It is close though.

Looks like it would be very useful for those who want to travel with a Hard Top.

Actually - it tilts back so you can open the bonnet so you can raise or lower the top easily.

Cliff, my weekender is silver and the match is very good. I leave it on always and I think it looks great.

Our Yellow weekender matchs puuuurfect. Great for week end get aways. Sure can put alot of stuff in one!
Watch out for the spacing between the trunk lid and the weekender. Gotta be spaced just right or it will hit your trunk lid going over bumps!!!

Thanks for the tip Larry - I will have to take it for a test spin - I haven't driven with it on yet.

I think the problem with the color was it is so new and not used on anything else - They had the paint code but I don't think that was enough.

Cliff, Congrats on the weekender. Really comes in handy to have the extra room. We keep ours on most of the time also.

StarFlame - mainly the cost and the storage space it takes.

Jim S - thanks for the heads up on this - took a while to get it but it will come in handy!

I just have to make this note. Bob over at Real Rod has been exceptional in customer service with the mismatch in color. He offered to have it repainted to match.

Thanks Bob! and Real Rod!
