The ONLY vendor I am aware of is your local Chrysler dealer....usually have them in a day or two...get front and rears....easy to install...a MUST for the cars if you intend to drive it at all...

Speaking of mud flaps...

Mine are tight but the front ones seem to rattle.

Does anyone else have this problem or has noticed this?

Thump your fender on top and see if they rattle.

The flap extending from the fender seems to need some insulation at that point.

Does anyone have an easy fix?
Thanks...

Order them from the dealer!!! They should have them in 2-3 days. All 4 cost around $65.00 and are very easy to install. In my opinion a MUST if you drive your KAT.

Chrome,
Mud flaps are a must. Here are the part numbers:
-Mud flap front #82203235
-Mud flap rear #82203236

Prowlen,
Check to make sure all the nuts are snugged up. There are three nuts per front flap. The nuts have a tendency to work themselves loose and the bolt head behind the flap will rattle. Be sure to put Locktite on the nuts to keep them from coming loose.

Mike is totally correct. Mine came loose, and I actually lost 2 out 3 nuts on one side. Loctite & elbow grease to ensure they are secure.

After you install them, be careful around speed bumps and such. The front ones are so low to the ground, they will drag. I haven't seen any damage other than they just become loose over time. Drive at a angle as you go over speed bumps, it will lesson the grad and minimize potential dragging of the mud flaps.

If the flaps become loose, be careful. When they vibrate or rattle, the flap is rubbing on the underside of the fender, which over time, will rub off paint. FYI

Actually, even with Lock Tite they come loose if yours rub on speed bumps which the ones here ALWAYS do. What you want to do to prevent looseness and "vibration", is to install a flat washer and then a lock washer and THEN the factory nuts.

Hey now, I use ss locknuts as I lost a few nuts too. Also, the SPC control for the f. fenders must have a large tolerance. I noticed my left flap would scrub when I turned into my driveway everytime. I took out the tape measure, found that the fenders hang down a half inch different. Trimed the left so now the flaps are even and no more scrub............

My mud flaps also raddled, and drove me nuts! My tech put some thin pieces of foam material, with sticky tape on both sides of it, between the mud flap and where it attaches to the fender. It's been about 2 years since then and I still don't have any rattles.
