Last year, at the Woodward Dream Cruise, DaimlerChrysler had what they called "The Black T" party. It's purpose was to reveal the new Black Tie Edition Prowler to the public. They had 50's music, entertainment (The Earth Angels and The Fantastics!), diner-style food, drinks, a drive-in display with cars and a dance contest with a chance to win a Prowler or PT Cruiser to drive for the weekend. They also had a raffle for 100 parking spots at 13 Mile and Woodward (the hub of the cruise). Those winning a spot received a pair of huge Pink fuzzy dice which was the identifier for them to get to their parking spot in DC's display! They also gave out goodie bags to everyone that included a Black Tee Shirt designed especially for the event and a special cd. I still have some available if anyone who did not attend last year would like one. I put up a post last year after the event with the same offer. There were some people who attended but didn't know about the bag and people who were not able to attend but wanted one. If anyone would like either of these items, please email me with your name and address and shirt size. I have lots of cds left and mostly larger size t-shirts left. I will attempt to accommodate sizes. Anyone with multiple Prowlers that would like cds for all of them, I have plenty. It was a lot of fun and they will be doing something similar again this year. I do not have the details as yet, as my contact says they are working on the particulars. Last year it was called the "Black Tie" party. It is put on by DC, and is held in front of the Chrysler Museum outside of Detroit on the Friday before the Woodward Dream Cruise. The Black Tie (black on silver) Prowler was debuted at this event. If you go for the Cruise weekend, this is a must for Mopar / Prowler enthusiast! Keep an eye open for other post's on these subjects. The weekend is WAY COOL! Worth every penny.

SPCL-T......not to argue with you, but even though the party was designed to reveal the Black Tie Edition, they actually called it the Black T (as in tee) party, hence the Black Tee shirts that they gave out. Here is what the invitation looked like:
