does anyone have any info on the cd's that are suppose to be in the prowler? ours did not, called chrysler, they said to call the dealer, called the dealer, he did not know anything about it. ------------------ |

It seems that almost no one got the CD. If anybody has one, I'd be happy to copy it and burn a few CD's (I have a cd burner in my computer) for anyone who wants one. Tom |

CJ - is there a copyright problem with DC if we burn copies of this CD? I have it and have the capability of burning CDS and will do it for the folks but I don't want any problems with DC if I do. ------------------ |

We have 2 Prowlers and had a CD in each one. CJ, after 3 years, they could have changed some of the songs!   I can also burn some CD's if DC won't get to unhappy. ------------------ |

Well I guess she is not gonna answer me , I personally didn't sell it and could find out who did i guess but I thought I would just ask, If it was one of my cars its in the car usually in the side net but sometimes in the rear storage ------------------ |

Most music is copyrighted and subject to royalties. DC has licensed the music used on this cd. The license covers one cd for each vehicle produced by DC. The cd carries the following statement: 1997 Sony Music Entertainment Inc. The inspection process at CAAP ensures that every vehicle shipped from the factory has a cd. If yours wasn't with the vehicle you can thank someone downstream for removing it from the vehicle. What you do from there is at your own risk! DC paid for and intended the cd for the owners enjoyment. have looked in all the places where the cd should be with no luck. so i would like someone to get us one. we bought our prowler at quinn chrysler. have talked to the salesman that sold us our car, he was to find out about getting us one, but have not heard back from him. i just need to know how to get in touch with someone who can help. thanks for your help. ------------------ |

My thoughts are that someone at the dealership took it. As far as I know, the delivery trucks don't drop the cars off until there at the dealership. Not sure on that. If you really want an original w/ case, and the dealership can't give you the one that was most likely in the car when they took delivery from the factory - the best place might be keeping an eye open on eBay. That's where I got my spare. I had to get some other stuff with it. There was one up for auction a few weeks ago. You have to go through every last item that is related to the key word "Prowler." Before you ask - NO, my spare is not for sale at this time. Sorry!

SPCL-T. You're correct. The Prowler is delivered directly from CAAP to dealer in an enclosed trailer by Reliable trucking company. Here's pic of truck with delivery...

Ma, I spoke with Sylvia at the CAAP plant. Unfortunately, they cannot provide replacement cds. I then spoke to the DC Customer Advocate Center and asked for a part#. There is no part number for this item. They indicated to me that the dealer must order this cd through his D.I.A.L. system. It is how they order brochures, any media, and videos/tapes that are related to the vehicles they sell. He said to go back to your dealer, or find another one and request that they order the cd through this system. The CD is called: and it looks like this: The Tale & The Tunes

thanks everyone for your help! yes, i did speak to jeff, our salesman, he said he would get back with me which was over a week ago. guess hes not having any luck. we would not have known about the cd, had it not been for my husband looking at another prowler at another dealership here in tulsa, and noticed the cd in the car. he asked the salesman about it, he said all the prowlers came with a cd. that is what got me to inquire about it. guess someone wanted the cd for a souvenir. thanks for the 800 #. ------------------ |

Ma......I just received an email from my tech info contact at DC. He says that the Prowler demo CD part number is: 4671071AB Go back to your dealer and present him with both of these options and perhaps one of them will work!!! ------------------ |
