I went to update my owner's registry (finally pulled the build date) and my MDH code doesn't fit the template on the web page. My MDH code is 013013 344AC. My Date of Manufacture is 1-01 (January 2001?). How do you break down the MDH to understand the date and time? ------------------ |

Larry is correct on the deciphering, BUT as I understand this code, it is when the car LEAVES the assembly line, not when it starts down the line (for either the Viper line or the Prowler line). Perhaps CJ and/or Bob can confirm this for us. Also vin sequencing numbers are mixed between both lines as a "number of vehicles produced" by CAAP in a given year. ------------------ |

I know this is old but does anyone know if it is when the leaves the line or begins the line? Also, does anyone know what the last part stands for (344AC)? Thanks ------------------ |

Cliff, you opened a can of worms now. A/C will try to claim funds from DC for using his initials at the end. ------------------ |

Ed - good thing that AC lent me his attorney Al Bendover. I am having him draft legal papers to document that the AC stands for All Cliffs and not Alley Cat - just to protect my kat... I was afraid he would show up on my doorstep and claim it for himself ------------------ |

Cliff, I am kind of amazed he figure out his own initials, to be honest with you. Just think, I will be with him in about 10 days. Did you order an autographed picture yet, by the way. lol. ------------------ |

Cliff - yes, by all means get your order in for the autographed picture of Ed and I very soon! We are only printing off 500 of these special lithographed photos and we have already taken orders and have deposits for 406. If Al Bendover is helping you with the "Always Cliff" registration, he is in violation of our exclusive contract! I will not stand for that in any form, but will not deal with him in any legal fashion as I have Al's (Butchcee) uncle Vinny in Tucson, who digs shallow graves out in the desert to assist me. Ed - AC = ALLEY CAT ------------------ |

Hollywood, there is not way to tell what number your car was out of the run. The VIN is shared with Vipers and they do not stay in exact order even on the Prowlers. Since every Prowler was exactly the same (except for updates) it did not matter which car they worked on, in a particular order. If someone had all of the MDH codes for every car they could give it a very good guess, but that probably will not happen. ------------------ |
