My dad stumbled upon the CHP officer that gave you guys your tickets on the 126.... When I gave my dad a ride through town - there were a ton of CHP there because they are shooting a TV show. Well, my dad decides to walk up there yesterday and watch for a while and gets into this conversation with the officer. The officer said "Hey, weren't you in a prowler yesterday?" My dad confessed and then the officer went on to tell the story of two prowlers that he stopped on the 126 that were "flyn'" and one of the guys asked to take his picture. The officer thinks the photos are on the web somewhere but he doesn't know where..... Should I tell him? My dad told him to drop by our house and talk to me about buying a Durango (he is interested in getting one) because I could have some contacts that would save him a lot of money. I don't know if he will or not but since the 126 is his beat, I am sure to run into him sooner or later. ------------------ |

Yeah, go ahead and tell him. I don't think anything wrong was said about the incident. It is a small world. |

I don't see how this officer asked me to take his picture? He was all business and was by the book? He did not even know that I would be putting his picture on a website? Being the digi cam junki that I am, I said to myself, "This is a Kodak moment if I ever saw one". I then jumped out of my Black Kitty and took the shots. The officer never knew I would be doing this. Normally the officers ask you to stay in your car. I took a chance by getting out of the CAT and turning my digi cam at him. He could have taken this as some sort of threat. My digi cam could have been a Smith and Wesson. If you do meet him again, tell him I want to take some pictures of him with an interview and add to my webpage. This should be fun. Later... ------------------ |

Dan - remember this is second hand, I wasn't there for the conversation - but from what my dad said, you asked him if you could take photos - he didn't ask you. Sorry I didn't word that more clearly before If I see him, I will be sure to let him know! I think he was just interested in seeing how the pics came out.
