I wanted to order the chrome headrest covers but,
I hate to call the guy because of his health condition.

Anybody have any news?...or another vendor that makes these?

Nothing yet. I have been trying to get them since Nov, 2000 but we will need to wait for Gary to get better first!
Let's keep trying!

Same here ... want the chrome headest covers for Spring cruising up here in Chicago and ... the response to my Email sent them was ... "dunno when".

Perfect opportunity for another vendor to make some money from us captive, and interested customers.

I feel bad and all for what ever the medical problem is ... I just want to get these parts on my kat ASAP ... know what I mean, Vern?

JOMO, anybody who orders the Carlini Chrome headrest cover is making the right decision. It is really, really sharp.

I just spoke with Gary Empfield of Carlini Designs today.

Gary said that he is doing OK but sounded VERY TIRED.

Please cut them some slack for a little while longer while Gary gets his health back. I also am waiting for some parts for my new car. The parts are really my secondary consideration to Gary Empfield and Tony Carlinis health though. I'm sure that most of you are feeling the same.

Get well soon big guys, we're all wishing you the best!

Today, without knowing anything about anyone's health, I rode over to Carlini's to pick up a transmission cooler cover. After some minimal difficulty I was able to find the "offices" and I was surprised to learn that the primary business seems to be motorcycle parts for Harley's.

In any case, Gary was available by telephone and it was my understanding that he would be back in the office on a limited basis on Wednesday.

They were also out of transmission covers and it seemed as though more would be available shortly. Everyone was very nice to me but they are not set-up for visits and their business seems to be more industrial in nature.

Since this thread was started I thought that I would add my first hand knowledge. The drive from San Diego to Costa Mesa is about 125 miles and I was hopeful that I would be able to add the transmission cover to my list of accessories but it was not meant to be. I only wish that I could have driven the Prowler today as the weather was conducive.

Alley Cat,

Just bought another old used Yellow '99 Prowler with a trailer. Really nothing special just a few less miles.

I am looking for another set of the Carlini turn signal fairings, chrome headrest covers and chrome control arm covers if anyone has any of these that they would like to sell.

I will be selling my car and trailer, either together or separately in the near future. Anyone interested in a Yellow trailer with bra for $3000.00 please send me an e-mail for more information.
