It has 33,000 miles on it. The heads have been ported and polished. It has a fosgate punch 400 with 8 inch punch woofers built into a custom box and two midrange(Diamonds) and 4 Focal Tweeters.

It also has a NOS fogger nitrous system that delivers a 65 horsepower shot.

What would be a good price to ask for a reasonably quick sale. Any help?

The car is in TEXAS.

HAVE WAY TOO MANY TICKETS.

Welcome to the board Wild Bill........

I have no modifications on my 99 black cat, so I can't really help you with a price. There are many guys on this board that have modifications, however, and I am sure you will get some response to your question.

Are the tickets the only reason you are getting rid of the car? If so, maybe you should just slow down instead of getting rid of such a great car???? Are you going to buy another that is stock?

CJ,

Naw, there are some other reasons. Mainly it is my family. Every weekend I go riding around in that car. My wife and my kids are getting sick of it. I don't do the chores around the house mow the grass or nothing... I just ride around in my car 8 to 10 hours a weekend playing my CD player really loud (118 decibels sustained). Oh I am also going deaf.

Anyway that is my main reason although I have gotten 7 tickets this year. Cops just don't like me.

Well, Wild Bill, I'm not going to laugh.......!

How old are the kids? Can you get a sitter so your wife can go with you? Try doing the chores during the week so that leaves your weekends guilt-free? When my husband was doing a lot of traveling with his job, he was gone from Monday thru Friday. I did all my chores and his chores outside so we would have the weekend to spend together. Didn't have a Prowler at the time (many years ago), but I decided that when he was home, I wanted him to spend it with us instead of doing chores only for him to leave again on Monday. If I'd had a Prowler, I would have found a sitter for one day to go prowlin and the other would have been spent with the kids.

Where there is a will, there is a way.......oh, and turn down the volume and slow down or let the wife drive!!!!

Trade it in at a John Deere dealer in exchange for a tractor. Your wife will be happy.

Thanks for the advice CJ. It will be hard decision to finally get rid of it. What I am scared about is selling it and then wanting another one.

Nightprower,

Too funny. Maybe she will "think my tractor's sexy"...naaa that is a stupid song. But maybe if it is green like the green M&Ms, who knows.

Have been looking at ads just today...over 700 in one place on the net....high mile Kats, 20K miles on up, seem to be priced around $34,000 to $36,000...the modifications will hurt the value beyond those prices to a collector, but might add a few bucks to a speed enthusiast looking for a car that has already been modified...expect to get only pennies on the dollar for speed modifications on the car....without seeing the car or knowing the dollars spent on speed mods, I would guess around $35K to start.......yellow is a good color to sell, has been very popular...good luck kiddo !!!

Wild Bill-before you sell your Cat and disappear from the site, how about some info. Were you able to feel the performance gain from the head work?

butchee,

Yea it felt just a little faster. I don't know if it was were the money. I mean it would burn the tires with the head word but nothing like the nitrous does. I would go with the nitrous if I was you and just do a mild 65hp shot.
