Hey now, if Mike wants to claim the "Worlds Fastest Prowler" by the et slips, then all info on these slips count, right???? So any way you cut it, I won by the best time of the day on by runs and by default on the actual race. For all you posers, you got to add the reaction time in to find the winner. Thats how its done in a real race. So if anyone disputes thisyou can all....................KFA!

So when I do the math, and remember, all I have with me is a calcumatater, and as long as mike refrains from using his Gork mentality, Everyone Knows Who Is The Worlds Fastest Prowler............and don't call for a recount or change the rules Mike............just work on your reaction time, it must be hell to get old..........And n Florida, when it comes to drag racing, we don't count "chads".......we count "Nads" which you seem to be short one or two.......

Truth of the matter is Jerry, you were off by yourself in the pits tuning your car all day and never ready to race until 4:03PM (look at your time slip). I paid for use of the track till 3:00PM and eliminations were to be completed by 3:00PM. I made a point of telling you that when I came back from a run with my purple car a little before 3:00PM. Read the itinery and look at #3: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000107.html

I gave up on racing you after you were a no show in the staging lanes and made my last pass in my black car shortly after 3PM. When I came back from that pass, you were still in the pits leaning over your engine tweaking. After that, I went back to the staging area and did several burnouts for Mopar Action / Now Magazine.

Yea, my car was heat soaked after that, and only an idiot would race against another car with a cooler engine. Do you try to steal purses from cripple old ladies too????

Funny thing, even though you were running your slicks, my 60 foot time, 1/4 mile ET and MPH were still better then yours with my street tires!

My time slip:

CONGRATULATIONS Mike, there are NO QUESTIONS in anyone elses mind except the mind of the man who at this time doesn't really matter. Unfortunately some people are SORE LOSERS!(FMITBT) I do give credit to FM for running some great times, but that is all history now. Mike was being very gracious to Mr. Heasley at the end of the day to do what I recall was about 4-5 MAJOR BURNOUTS for the article. When Mike says his engine was soaked, believe me, it was. Nobody ever saw FM contributing to anything else but his own GREED! No one had made a pass in almost 20 mionutes when FM showed up saying he was going into the 11's. It was another 10 minutes of convincing to let you make a pass when everyone else was packing it in. Thanks to all involved for a GREAT EVENT, and to all that PARTICIPATED with others!

Super Dan - another classic set of posts...........you should have been there to call the shots!

Like the Super Bowl, everybody remembers the WINNER and NOBODY remembers the LOSER.......GAFF

Andy - I'm thinking of getting you one of those advanced nine button calcumataters for Christmas.

Hey now, sounds like a whole lot of "a" kissing going on here but thats ok. I guess TX club rules for drag racing are whatever the man says......anyway Mike, you came by after your last run in your black car and we asked you if it was over at 3, you told us it's over at 5 then about 15 min to 3, you stoped by in the purple car changing it to 3. I tried to heat up my bottles but that last run still shows me who's faster. Do the math or reaction time doesn't count??? I still had a great time as I do whenever I race. I'
m sure we will meet again, if you are as serious as I am about racing a prowler.........maybe you will come on down to Fl. and race in a real race some day soon.
I can be in San An tomarrow, this is all I got to say on the issue............remember this is all for fun and I don't want to take it too serious...........

Hey now, Mike is right that I was not aware of the itinerary so I was a no show. Mike is the winner and I still say I am faster. Next time, I will be ready, PaulR, give me a break, I don't want to appear as a ungrateful guest but it was my first time at this track and getting their before everyone else, except JP, I just pitted where it seemed right. None of the racers invited us over so we just stayed. I was there to race. I guess I don't fit any club stuff anyway. I'm a racer and will continue to race and if anyone ever want to race me, you know I will do my best to make it. I'm sorry everyone seems so angered by my ribbing..........guess I have a different sence of humor, to dark for this crowd

Your humor is fine Jerry, and I know your a racer. I watched your post from way back, getting info etc.. It will all clear out. I, and others know exactly what your talking about. I told Dan awhile back you would be in the thick of things. Too bad you and Mike could not get on the track at the same time. But as you know, until it happens, it's all talk. And even then the winner is only as good as the next race.
Too bad your so far away. You may not think so, but I think Dan and I would race you every day, win or lose just to learn, have fun, and get better.

Don't think you don't belong here. If that was the case, then this club was created for all the wrong reasons, if people can remember back not too long ago. I don't that's the case. Emotions get the best of us all at times. I'm certainly no exception.

You made that race exciting to us all to read. The added competition was great..
