The gray plastic clip that holds the latch in the up position broke while I was using it. Chrysler sells this same "cheesy" plastic replacement latch kit for $200.00. Anyone out there familiar with this problem that can offer a better alternative than the DC replacement? Thanks! |

I don't know about an alternative replacement, but it's necessary to clip them back in place before you put the top in the trunk. This is what I was told ------------------ |

This is because the latch assembly is only avaliable complete from Chrysler, they do not make the little plastic bit that breaks avaliable by itself. I have had to replace two so far under warrenty. One on the Black Tie and one on the Orange. My guy here said it was a $300 LIST price! ------------------ |
