Hey guys... Here's something to brighten up your spring! M&L Automotive, Inc. just completed a new grille that is a direct replacement of the OE grille. It is a Polished stainless steel grille that gives the front that 30's look it's been lacking. By removing the horizontal slats, and going with the vertical bar look, it completes the look with the lights. Let me know what you think!! We will be selling them for $2395.00 and it uses all the old mounting hardware. A perfect look for the prowler. If you want to check out the order form, go to www.mandlauto.com M&L Automotive, Inc. ------------------ |

Looks cool but let me tell you how restrictive that mesh behind the grill is going to be. Figure out the area of the mesh and I bet it cuts out 25% air flow. Maybe not a prob on a cool day , but in a high heat situation, especially with a blower, I think this will show up. ------------------ |

How did a purple Prowler wind up with a Chrysler emblem? I like it... |

It's absolutely gorgeous!.......but I can think of a lot of other things that $2400.00 can buy to improve on the Kat. Besides, the Kat is already a head turner in its present form. |

The grill in sweet the price is a little high, $1995.00, you would have some takers. The mesh will have to go, these cars will over heat instantly with two or three bugs in the radiator. |

I'd agree with CJ Kind of looks familiar... Looks great, kind of pricey. I guess forming and polishing the SS is a pricey proposition. I actually like the horizontal look. It's great to have options. ------------------ |

I love the idea of a SS grill, but for that price, I can have some custom made for all 3! ------------------ |

I like the idea, but I think it is too expensive for most. I wanted a `33~`34 Ford grill style for mine. The fins look like round tube. I think would look better in flat stock. Mesh has to go due to overheating Like my chromed stock grill and even the $400 custom coating is charging sounds good. Add this to the list of options for our Cats. ------------------ |

I really like the look, but the price is way out of my league. Price of aftermarket products is one of the disadvantages of owning a limited production vehicle. Supply and Pricing being equal to demand. Rich Ware ------------------ |

Hey now, no wonder my top is not done yet......Its mid March and still no top. I am very disaponted in M&L as they have not keeped me informed as to when the tops will be ready, much less the beauty bar and now this high dollar grill. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with someone making a dollar but at that price, that takes "crazy money" to own one.........any prowler owners hit the lotto lately??????? |

M&L, Since you've tested the water in this forum, you can pretty much conclude that the exorbitant price overshadows the beauty in your grille. I think a re-examination of your pricing structure is in order. I believe the late J. Paul Getty once said "it's easier to get $10.00 from a hundred people, than a $100.00 from ten people." Good Luck! |

Thank you all for the wonderful comments about the grille, I do have to apologize for the miss-marked price. In our haste to get out the news, we inadvertently wrote the wrong price, it should have been $1295.00. In the beginning of looking into providing and pricing the grille, we were looking at the prices on what some of the street rod grilles sold for and didn't change the price from the original draft that was sent out. I gave the OK to send out the info without proofing it first, sorry! The grille does have round bars and the screen is something cosmetic and can be removed. We choose round over flat because we felt the air would flow around it better, we might be wrong. We will gladly change our design to flat stock if that's what is desired. We will be resubmitting the same e-mail info today. As for the Delivery top, we are continuing to work on it to make it a good part. I don't know if any of you have ever brought something to market, but it is a long and expensive venture. The problem with trying to provide it to those who had ordered one, was really promising a delivery date. To all that have ordered tops we are as anxious to get them to you, as you are to get them. Bottom line we are committed to giving a good product!
