Winter in Indiana can give you all sorts of weather. Well the end of the week brought rain. Most people think that rain as bad, WRONG . In the winter with all the salt on the road the cat has to sleep, but a good heavy rain the roads are clean and the car is ready to purr if the sun comes out and stays dry a few days the cat really needs to go out to Stretch out alittle. Yesterday was sun shine all day and this morning the sun was out again. I just had to let it run alittle, warm up the fluids and check the air in the tires. This was all really necessary, and since the roads were clean and my daughter wanted someone to take her to work, WELL I just couldn't leave it in the garage. It is about 15 miles to where she works and what a perfect day to warm it up. Over the winter you forget the ride and how easy it is to control the radio off the steering wheel and all the looks. I stopped at the hardware store on the way back home to have a guy offer to drive it for me and then coming back out of the store to have a guy an his young daughter starting at it. In it's rest over the last few months it didn't lose any strength. I was motorately accelerating in 1st on a slight incline and a sweeping curve on dry pavement when I shifted into 2nd and the rear kicked out just a bit. Now I thought it really needed to be run after that so I let it all out for a mile or so. The snow will fly again and the salt will be back on the road but it is really nice to be able to drive the car again. Now I know Dave R., Larry S., Gary C., Scott M. and all you other in the dry HOT south will say you can drive yours everyday to you ahead of time ------------------ This message has been edited by WildCat on 02-11-2001 at 11:59 AM |

Glad you had fun yesterday, so did I. I had to go out in the major downpour to take the car to my friends house that is doing some modifications to the trailer. Not having the Leopard cat and don't want to put anymore miles on the red cat, it was fun to get out Katting around. Larry, glad you got to enjoy the Most Fun car on the road , we all are blessed. ------------------ |

Larry I remember days like that in Michigan. Question did you have to put on the sun block and shades?
