Mike, someone said these list for $3,100 (excluding options). What kind of deal are we really getting? I assume that's a delivered--but not set-up--price. Thanks for working the deal! ------------------ |

Hi Joe, The latest quote I received from Cytech is $2800.00 (excluding options). This would be a group purchase of 8 or more lifts. Joe is right, the list price is now $3395.00. ------------------ |

Hi Mike, Based upon your usage of this lift, what options would you recommend? I only want to use one for occasional servicing and/or cleaning. Would probably not ever use the "double park" feature. Thanks, jb ------------------ |

Joe Bob, If you don't plan on parking another car above, you won't need the drip pans. If you are going to park a car above, the drip pans are a must. You will need at least 3 drip pans to collect the condensate that comes out of the exhaust pipe drip holes. The ramps that come with the lift are steel and need to be taken on and off by hand. Aluminum ramps make this task a lot easier. One other option is a jack bridge that goes across the width of the lift to place a car jack on. ------------------ |

I have one of Cytech's lifts also ... their product name is "DoublePark" ... I don't believe there is also a feature by the same name. I ordered the longer aluminum ramps, 3 plastic drip trays and had the 'controls' moved to an opposite leg and also positioined to the front of the lift. Both of these changes were considerd 'optons'. It all depends on what your specific needs are. I was hoping for something in the $2500 - 2800 range delivered and with at least long ramps and 2 drip trays. Stay on 'em Mike ... I have two sold up here if we hit thos numbers. ------------------ |

I bought mine 2 years ago. I paid about $3,400, but I got 3 drip pans, longer steel ramps, 2 jack bridges, oil drain pan and it was delivered and set up. They where in town for a show. I prearranged the deal and he brought everything I wanted to use as his display at the show. I heard at the 1st of the year they had a price increase. Even if you do not plan on parking under I would get at least 1 drip pan. I used it to hold stuff when I'm working under the car on the lift. If they have a show in your area you could make arrangements for them to bring one just the way you want it as I did. I highly recommend the aluminum ramps. When I get old I will need help. Or have to buy the aluminum ones. ------------------ |

I'm still interested in 3 of these, but would need to be in for the $2500 price. ------------------ |

Who's keeping count? I'm in for two lifts, with aluminum ramps and 3 pans per lift. I think we can do very close to $2500. each lift. Heck, we are at $2800. each now. I think we should get dealer pricing since we have a group purchase. (Std practice) I think we are over 8 lifts requested at this time. |

BTW, I have a resale number we can use to ensure we get a wholesale discount. I also want the aluminum ramps and all 3 drip pans on mine. I'm hoping we can get the price down to $2500 with these options. ------------------ |

Got the following URL from a couple of vette guys in the area. They swear by these lifts. http://www.stingerlifts.com/ I haven't called about pricing. Just thought I'd toss it out there if anyone is interested. ------------------ |
