I think the Blackhawk is really cool. The Lacrosse looks to me like Buick's attempt to build a concept "Chrylser Concord". It will be interesting to see how many of these concept vehicles actually make it to production. |

Niteman, My exact thoughts. Wonder what the prices may be....I'm guessing around $40K and the dealers gouge up to $60K in first year for the Blackhawk. (learn by Chrysler's example) |

The Nov. 20, 2000 edition of Autoweek has the Blackhawk on the cover and has a very nice story about it. According to the article it is not a concept car, but a one of a kind to draw interest to Buick products. It was hand made to take to car shows and was at last years Woodward Dream Cruise. It doesn't mention the cost to hand build it. The pictures are outstanding if anyone can get a copy. |

Hmmmm....thanks Ed! I do like, would consider adding it to the garage. Maybe they will build if public wants. CJ, I agree...the prowler is the coolest production car!! |

The BlackHawk would be a good stable mate to the Prowler. Have you seen the Ford Forty-Nine is has a possiblity of being built. I like the Buick better but doesn't sound like they don't have any intention of buidling it. Rich Ware ------------------ |

While certainly the Prowler is THE coolest car ever built... it would be nice to see other cool cars on the market for those of us who do not want the standard car. ------------------ |

For those at the first night of Dream Cruise last year when you first arrived from out of town on Wednesday night, who remembers seeing the Blackhawk drive right through the Prowlers parked in the lot at 13 Mile & Woodward? It drove slowly by with the Buick guys blipping the throttle and checking out all of the Prowler! |
