I just received a call from Sweeney Chrysler/Plymouth in Cincinnati regarding the spots on my bumpers. The service manager said he had been in contact with DC and they agreed to have the bumpers repainted grey. They are going to remove them and then have their body shop re-do them. Do all of you think this is an acceptable solution????? ------------------ |

I would say that's perfectly acceptable. Your bumpers were painted grey originally and the dealer has offered to bring them back to new condition. I'm sure if your hood had some grey spots on it, you would be happy with having it repainted, not replaced. |

Painted free under warranty...OK. A guy here in Florida had his dealer paint the Purple Kat bumpers purple to match the car at $500. Seems they did a good job painting...so would figure your dealer could re-shoot the gray to look fine. As long as you are happy with the results. |
