I am helping out a friend with a search for a used Prowler. This person is looking for a used 2000. Does anyone have any good ideas. The dealers in the DC/VA/MD area are marking up the Prowler about $7K above sticker. Any help would be appreciated. ------------------ |

Jeff, Your friend may want to try Fairfax Chrysler Plymouth at 703-385-0500. Picked my 2000 up there last March for a great price. I was there about a week ago and they had 3 or 4 in the showroom. Why not consider new, if the price is right!! Prowl On, |

Jeff, I too bought mine at Fairfax Chrysler Plymouth. Have your friend call Mark Kueny and tell him I sent you. Yesterday they had a Black, a Bow Tie and an Orange. BTW, DarCars ran an ad in the Post over weekend stating $43,500 for a new 2001 and that they had several. ------------------ |

Rod/Gil, Thanks for the lead. I did call them and they have a black and silver 2000 and a bow tie and orange on the lot. They said the Orange would go for 5K above sticker. I talked to these guys when I bought mine, May 2 2000. The manager pissed me off when I spoke to him. They had a Woody on the lot and wouldn't even negotiate. They wanted 15K above sticker. I will check out DarCars though. All this looking around had me thinking of an Orange, but my wife would kill me. Larry, I'm always ready to talk Hokie football.. ------------------ |

Gil, Have you had much service done on your Kat at this dealership? If so, what's been your experience. I've only been in once for the complimentary oil change. Mark Akers is the contact I have in the service department. Rad Rod |
