Back in the early part of Sept. I happened upon a chat going on, in the club. I was asking questions about buying a Prowler and was given many suggestions. Well, I walked into the dealership, told them that I was here to buy that car and was ready to write a check. There eyes jumped out of their heads. I had been in this dealership 3 times before and they had never approached me about buying a car. I had this happen to me in several places that I went into, just because I am a female, I guess. I offered them a price and they said OH they didn't think they would go for that the the "head" people were all at lunch. I gave them my cell number and said, If you change your mind call me. Within 10 minutes, I had a call and after I finished with my appointment, I headed back to the dealer and met with the owner and we made a deal. This was the first time I have ever bought a car without my husband. And I enjoyed every minute of it and even writing the check. And am enjoying the car even more!!!I do let my hubby drive it and everyone thinks it is his, but he always says "It's my wife's car!" I don't remember the three peoples names tht were in that chat group that night, but if you remember who you are.......Here's a BIG Texas Thanks!! LUV MY KAT ^j^^j^ |

Midlife My hubby flew to Austin with me to pick up the car and I even let him drive it. He says I "deserve"it!! And believe me I DO!!! |

Jillypoo.......welcome to the club......glad to have another woman on the board. When my husband presented me with my car (as a 33 anniversary present) he said the same thing...."You deserve it!" And of course, I totally agreed!!  |
