Well I don't know were to start. At first I just wanted to chrome the front end, then was talked into doing the rear (which was not hard to do!!hehe) The pictures of the front end look very scary maybe from some sifi movie. but the only parts from the body that was removed was the grill 5 to 10 min to remove then the nose 15 to 20 min to remove, the only reason i removed the front was to touch up the paint on the bottom, I will post pictures when then front is finished today. If you notice I added carlini brake lines, I have the real rod front end protectors to put on,the 2000 rear black bumpers with shimmers and clear reverce lights. Total cost time and labor??????????? OUCH!!!To let everyone know I had some custom bushings made for the front to replace the ones removed from the a arms.I am very pleased with the out come & looks very custom!!! |

Please post some more details regarding the removal of the front end suspension components, the cost to have each item chromed and the down time awaiting the chrome parts to be finished. I am really interested in doing this. I have already polished the rear components. Also, could not help but notice the Chrome SHIMMERS... they really look good! THANKS for your business. Thanks for the nice replys. The time it took was alot longer than I wanted. But what happened I just keep adding stuff. If I was just going to do the front allow about 2 weeks, 1 day to brake down, 1 week to Chrome, weekends then put back together. BE SURE TO SAVE AND REMOVE THE LOWER BUSHINGS THE RIGHT WAY!!!! because they do not sell extras, I learned it the hard way!!!Cost to do the front and the rear PARTS LABOR CHROME & POLISHING $2500 to $3500 just how much do you want to do and some details can get it up there. Plus the down time in the shop 2 to 3 weeks add up. If you want any tips or help before you do this you can email me at c27note@aol.com. Today was the first day to see it on the road & clean WOW!!! Worth every DIME very custom. My wife loves it and most do not care.hehe On my way to the garage to look at it again.. |
