I am planning on purchasing a Prowler very soon.
I am having a very hard time deciding on yellow or orange.
Doe's anyone have any thoughts on color desirability, and future color matching, and/or durability of pigment?
What do I need to look for besides best price...any dealers better than others?

Check the classified section for some information on cars for sale.
Sean Dougher has a couple of Prowlers for sale in your area and LanceD also has some in Tulsa.

Color is a personal preference. Seems that the color we have is usually the color we like best. Imagine that!

A solid color will normally hold up a little better to oxidation than a metallic but in my opinion, a metallic does look a little better in the sunlight. All of the Prowlers have a clear-coat finish over the base color.

I hope this helps.

I dealt with Maxwellsouth in Austin. I was in there a couple of weeks ago and they only had the owners Purple Prowler. There is an Orange one in Houston at the River Oaks store.

All colors are great, but I would have to say the yellow gets more attention than any other color I have owned...it may be harder to find a new yellow than an orange, not sure...just don't pay over sticker...there are over 600 Kats for sale on the net....shop around ...there are 2 used ones for sale soon in my town...99 purple and a 2000 yellow(mine)...they are out there !!!

If I were buying one now, I would opt for the blue.

Bought an orange Kat last month. Loved the color until I saw the blue. VERY sorry that I did not wait for the new blue. The blue is what this car was waiting for.

There's also an orange at Charlie Thomas on I-45 south.
I'd stay away from River Oaks. They typically ask $20K plus over sticker. There are enough dealers out there will to sell at or below sticker that you need not pay that kinda price.

Check out a DuPont Registry as they typically list several large volume dealers that sell them at good prices. The days of $55-60-75K prowlers is over.

Last week I signed papers on a 2000 yellow prowler in NJ. Did not pay over sticker.....120 miles...first owner.
It is scheduled to arrive on Friday!! and the wait is killing me.
The blue appears to be very classy and I saw two orange ones for sale in Austin at the Champion Chrysler they stated sticker price before negotiations even began...my how times have changed.
Yellow has been my dream color and is the foundation color that I wanted to work from as I customize the car in the coming years.
SEE Y'ALL AT THE HILLCOUNTRY RUN...
