I have had a deposit down on one for several months.....looks like everything I hoped it would be.....have had 2 RT/10 Vipers and currently have a steel gray/stripes 2000 GTS...most unbelieveable car I have ever owned....Kats are fun(have had 6)but Vipers are in a class of their own......THANX FOR THE PICTURES ------------------ |

Can't say I really like it (kinda looks like an oversized mazda) or that I am hooked yet.....let's see what it looks like in Yellow and in person. When do they hit the dealerships? ------------------ |

I wonder if they are going to keep the 200 hp engine in the base model and put the LS6 engine in the Z28 version... oops... I'm sorry... I thought it was the new Camaro. Seriously, to me it looks like the front end of the new Stratus, with the hood of the Camaro SS, with the mirrors and side profile of the C5 Corvette and the rear looks similar to the Honda S2000. In other words, looks too much like every other car on the road. Thats why I bought the Prowler. I wanted something unlike everyother car on the road. I do hope the New Viper looks better in person. Camaro SS is a perfect description from what I see in the picture. It definately won't be on my Xmas list in '03. ------------------ |

The pictures do not do it justice. Looks much better in person. Just a little wider, lower, and longer than the current RT/10. Another fine concept car built by the boys at Metalcrafters, Inc. It is truly an awesome car. ------------------ |

Todd, That car you posted is incredible. Below is what was at the Detroit Auto Show, I must say that pictures don't do the car justice. Looks much better in person.

Anyone notice the fact that it's a true convertible now? Looks like the electronic retractible hardtop of a Porsche. Of course, we are slightly bias now.... ------------------ Mods: 2001 Speed Yellow Porsche Cabriolet |
