With all the talk about added alarm systems, have any Powlers been stolen? I haven't heard of any. These cars are to hard to spot... ------------------ |

That's a scary thought. I am paranoid of scratches, so I rarely let the Kat out of my sight. Reality check....maybe an alarm is needed. |

I have not heard of any either... Cars are stolen primarily for the parts... when there is little demand for the parts... no one is going to bother stealing them for this reason. The only other reason to steal one, is for a joy ride. Most joy ride stolen cars are stolen by people smart enough to not stick out quite this badly. Stolen Prowler risks are minimal I feel for these reasons. However, people touching them is an extremely HIGH risk. ------------------ |

I would have to agree with Todd, where is a guy going to drive a stolen Prowler. Around the block and then someone would be looking at, and for them. For parts. Since few cars have been damaged few parts are needed... and would not be worth the risk..... But touching....even with the cover on it at the motel I had little kids grabbing the cover....but the alarms that start talking in my opinion are not a good thing because they really pi** me off when I go to get in my car and the alarm in the car next to me tells me to get back....FEEL LIKE KICKING THE S*IT OUT OF IT...I have not done this but that is how I feel. ------------------ |

Hey, don't tell anyone but that is how I got my Prowler. How else did you think I was going to pay for it? I just keep putting new paper plates on the back. everyone is to busy looking at the car, not the scratches on the vin# HEHE. So look out I have my eye on an orange one or black tie. No need to add an alarm system. Just gets in the way. J/K cnote6
