Ive looked at the boards link to the production numbers. Who is the one that reported these number and/or where could a person get the same information? I dont mean to sound harsh, Im just a numbers kind of guy. There all collectors cars but I like to know numbers. I like the details of things like that! If someone knows of whom I can chat with or where I can go to get *verified* production numbers...That would be awesome, and greatly appreciated! Thanks

The people in charge of the Caap plant wanted to know how we knew of these Production numbers, I think it is a question none of us will really know.

They are not for public repost. I quess you need to be satisfied with what we have.

The only numbers that they will give us for sure is the Limited Cats.

Hope this helps.

The Production Number is posted on a label attached to the hood support bracket on the left hand(drivers side of the door). This was true for the 1997,1999, and 2000. The numbers were sequential from 1997 forward. Not sure about the 2001. This number is approximate but should be reasonably close.
MDH on the drivers door jam gives you the Month/Day/Hour your vehicle was completed.
Hope that helps.

All the cars have the M/D/H on the door but they do not all have the other paper sticker with # . I have looked all over for a # on my car and have yet to find one. I have seen it on `97 and on a later `99. I was told they discountinued this

CJ, can you help clear this up?

Went to Chrysler for an answer and here is their response:

Thank you for your recent e-mail to DaimlerChrysler Motors Corporation regarding
production figures for the Plymouth Prowler.

In the 1997 model year, there was a total of 1,346 vehicles built. There were
no 1998 model year vehicles, because they started building 1999 model year
vehicles in 1998. In the 1999 model year, there was a total of 3,921 vehicles
built. The 1997 Plymouth Prowlers were all purple. In 1999, there were 1,134 purple;
605 yellow; 799 black; and 1,383 red. There is no production figures available for the 2000 model year because they are still currently building 2000 model year Plymouth Prowlers.

Thank you again for contacting DaimlerChrysler.
